I became a care giver, base on the fact that I used to care for my grandparents when they weren't well. It is my pleasure to see the smile on the patient 's face after he/she has been fed or given a bath or just talking to the patient and seeing the level of trust and comfort on the patient's face. My personal achievement is when my patient who was completely blind trusted me enough to be able to gain access by herself to surrounding again. I was born in the country Jamaica, I'm 50 years of age, I have a son and to sum me up I am a very caring, humble, kind and punctual person. I also did nursing assistant studies in Jamaica.

I'm 64 years old with medical billing, coding and nursing assistant certificates. I've been a caregiver for 12 years, and love giving the best care to my patients, I also enjoy talking to them and making them very comfortable. I became a caregiver because I like to help and encourage the elderly. I'm an honest, loving and caring person. It gives me a great satisfaction to know that I'm helping my client. I'm also a great listener I respect everyone and their well being.

I'm a good hearted loving caring person, been this way all my life when God made me, I am a nurturing soul, a giving soul I go to the next level to make my client happy, because I love what I do, it makes my heart smile.

I currently works as Ambulatory tech at strong. holds a HHA and PCA certificate and Registered in Medical Assitant. Am passionate about helping others and take my job seriously.

I am very dependable, trustworthy and have compassion and empathy when interacting and working with individuals as well as their families who need a little extra care. What attracted me to be a caregiver is helping others maintain as much independence as possible and providing care that will brighten spirits and help engage in daily activities. A person achievement I am proud of is being a loving mother. It has taught me patience and is my number one teacher in providing exceptional care.

I am a great caregiver because, after beign a caregiver for 12 years with lots of experience with dementia patients, stroke patients, alzheimer patients, hospice patients and companionship as well. I became a caregiver because, I enjoy helping the sick and the suffering. I have achieve some goals such as respecting the rights of each individual, cooking different kinds of food and maintaining homes of some elderly individuals. I feel good when I do my work well and on time.

I'm a 43 year old woman with decades of good experience in all capacities of care giving. I had been caring for people and animals all my life. It gives me joy and a sense of self worth to help someone or something & to make someone's day brighter, ease the pain and put a smile on their heart is what I shrive to do.

I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. I started out as a Certified Nursing Assistant ... I am currently a License Practical Nurse, I serve in the capacity as Home Health Nurse/Caregiver. I choose to be a caregiver because of my personality. In my opinion, I really did not become a caregiver, I was born a caregiver as I am very compassionate, caring, kind, loving and very giving of myself. What I like about being a caregiver is result, companionship, the way our relationship always grow for the better after getting to know each other. I get this feeling of accomplishment being a companion caregiver when the patient and family members are pleased with the level of care, added support and value I bring to the table. Eventually we ended up having this kind of family relationship while still maintaining that professional standard. One personal achievement I am extremely proud of is, being the best dad my two sons could ever have. My friends and persons with whom I work always say, "Allan you are a real caregiver" I can truly say that my attitude speaks a lot about my relationships with my patients, I am always patient.

I became a care giver because I have the passion to help others. I am a caregiver because I like to see results happen in a person who needs help. A personal goal was to get a client up and walking again I had confidence in him,but he didn't have it in himself his spirit was very low. After several months of range of motion and physical therapy he was able to use a walker. I helped him achieve and i am proud of that I was able to foster more of the clients' natural confidence to believe they were able to do whatever they put their minds to. I am cheerful and lighthearted person. I love to make people feel comfortable and get the most out of life.

I became a caregiver because I have a passion for putting others first. What I like about being a caregiver; imagine being unable to obtain your own meal, bathe yourself, get dressed, etc. I have lot of compassion to give happiness to others. My personal achievement is that I have had a chance to take care of a 102 year old lady. I am a pastor, and I have been in the ministry for 25 years, also I have a successful Church.

 I always regard my work with the elderly as a call to duty. I will choose this career path when given the opportunity to do it all over again. The satisfaction that the sense of fulfillment and service gives me is priceless. I've had not only best moments but worst experiences as well. First, the opportunity to interact with clients, listen to their stories and experiences; from career, family, travels to mention for a few, has deepened and broadened my perspective about the world and humanity. Second, the bond created. with client in the course of caregiving, gives a sense of family and responsibility to ensure that clients are given the highest standard quality care. I never want to miss the most important days like birthdays, weddings, thanksgiving etc. that gives clients the opportunity to meet and interact with friends and family. The smiles and joy on the faces of clients on these occasions mean so much to me. Third, the opportunity to be an advocate on behalf of clients and making sure their quality of care is not compromised is a role I cherish and always look forward to, because clients do tell me how they appreciate my hard work and effort. This motivates me to do more and be the very best I can. Finally, in spite of these best moments, some days have been something other than the best. Every time I lose a client, I feel like I just lost a member of my family. Though I understand my professional demands, the emotional toll that the death of a client exacts can be devastating sometimes. In conclusion, I believe I have a rewarding career irrespective of the pressure, demands and intensity that comes with my role. My ultimate objective is that residents are well taken care of.

I'm a caring, considerate, spiritual, and a very humble individual who has a fond for helping others. I've been a Certified Nurse Assistant for four years now, and I love to make a difference and a positive influence in people's lives. For 3 years, I worked at a nursing home and transitioned to assisted living where I was able to assist the elderly with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene. I worked in a hospital setting for 6 months, and I enjoyed seeing and meeting different people with contrast personalities who came from different backgrounds. Now, I'm currently working the field of hospice. I enjoy every single moment because I'm able to form a relationship with each patient I come in contact with. At first, I thought I wasn't going to be able to do this job because, eventually, my patient will pass, but I began to look at the positive side, which is that I, at least, get to make sure my patient is happy and comfortable in his or her last days. I enjoy what I do, and I hope that I will have the opportunity to touch more lives.

I always enjoy proving care for the sick and elderly . I love meeting new people. I've Been a Certified Nursing Assistant for the past 14years, and I have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases etc.. I really genuinely care about my patients health and well being. I love my job, i'm good listener, truthful, loyal, dependability, Patience, quality of work, Communication, pleasant, observant, caring and honest.

I personally like to do this because I have been doing this for 7 years and I love to be around them.I love my job. Especially when they go to the senior center and they bring home a certificate for how neat and nice I make them look and all of this makes me a great caregiver.

Hello my name is Lisa I have 20 years of experience. As a certified nursing assistant. I also work 17 years as a rehab aide. As a rehab aide. I was there to assist the therapist as needed with range of motion ambulation and transfer the patient in and out of bed. As a certified nursing assistant . I assist the patient with daily living. My last patient I work with was for 13 years. If you do consider me for the job I have references. And also certification. I consider myself compassionate, loving and gentle. And also very reliable.

What makes me a care giver its the pleasure to care for my elders and the joy i get out of it, I'm very patient loving, caring and compationate i do my best to help them live their golden years especially when they're not feeling their best!

I went to college for Patient Care Tech, Certified Nursing Assistant, phelblotomy, and EKG; I have been in my career since 2012 and is still current as a CNA or PCT. I worked with many clients doing in home care for more than one company for years. I worked with client's from different Background's and disabilities/handicapped to companionship jobs. I am CPR and First Aide Certified as well. Being a CNA is having/showing good Service to the client and making them feel comfotable about everyday living no matter what situation they are in. As of now I am also studing Pharmacy Tech as well and will still be a CNA. I have had long term to Short term clients over the years and currently.

What makes me a great caregiver is that im always on time and im ephishant. I care about all my clients and im gentle. Ive been in the care taking field for over 3 years and i plan to further my education in the medical field.

Am a very passionate and caring person by nature and that's what makes me a great caregiver. I became a care giver because I love seeing people happy and healthy,that's the only way I can be very happy. I love being a caregiver because it is the only job were I can put a smile on someone face giving me alot of pleasure and fufilment.
