I am 39 years old, active and healthy. I worked for army for 2 years and am honorably discharged. I have worked for Sears and JC penny as an associate for a few years till . In the last 7 years, I was a live-in nanny for a child from 2 months old till he turned 6 years. During that time, I realized how much I loved taking care of others. I still do babysitting for a 4 year old. I live with my parents since Jan 2005 onwards and help them with housekeeping, grocery shopping and cooking. I am a good driver and never had an accident. I realized I could help elders for their needs like transportation, Meal prep, Groceries and shopping, Housekeeping, Companionship, medical reminders etc.

1. My mother was diagnosed with MS, it was very painful watching her lose her independent, a woman full of wisdom and strength. She lived with it for 10 years and i was with her through out her ill period taking care of her. It wasn't easy for her but being there for her was a big healing on it own and it gave me joy being there for her and making sure she was comfortable at all times. After my mother went to be with the lord, i pledged to get trained professional, in other to help others that may need my help. 2. The interaction and being able to know that at the end of the day that i am able to help and save ones life. 3. I went to University and graduated with Bachelor degree in Healthcare Management and minor in Business Admin. 4. I am humble, energetic,loving, caring, motivator, listener, God fearing and i have passion in what i do.

Personality traits are empathetic, compassionate, driven, good listener and passion for serving others. My grandfather, grandmother and great-uncle whom all are deceased now are the reason why I work with elderly. I have experience working with ALS, Dementia, Prothestic, Bone Cancer, Parkinson, etc. I currently work in assisted livng center, Memory Care and it holds a special place in my heart. My most proud achievement is being able to give the love that elderly people deserve whtehr its physical or verbal affirmations.

A great caregiver is a person who sincerely cares for people in general no matter their circumstance. It is called unconditional love and compassion. Caring for those in need is very special and dear to my heart, as I hope there will be someone to care for me if ever needed. I take my job serious, and believe that every individual should be treated with dignity and respect.

My name is precious, graduate of Clayton state university and I have been a caregiver for 6 yrs. I love to take care of people. It has always been my passion.

I am a mature 46 Y/O female with a pleasant personality. I love to smile which allows people that I server and work with, knows that situations are not always dark as they seems. I do realize that by keeping a genuine smiling face, my co-worker are more drawn to me, and patients are more trusting of me and the care that I provides. At the age of 17, my mother was diagnosed with a neurological disease. After graduating from high school, the only noble and ethical thing to do was to care for her at home. At this tender age, I became a caregiver without a certification or license. I took impeccable care of her until she expired. Through those trying times I realize my heart for caring was more than I thought. I enjoy the look on a resident's face as if to say, "You have been a tower of strength through all this", or my co-worker saying " Great job Nurse A". I am so proud that after my mother's passing I did not keep my God given gift to myself , instead I went back to school and became a licensed care -giver to serve others with excellence.

Im a pretty positive person and I believe my purpose in life is service. I'm compassionate, patient, dependable, and really enjoy helping people. I am drawn to caregiving because it allows me to make a difference in people's lives. It means so much to make meaning full connections and being a source of light in what could be considered dark times. Graduating with my bachelors while working full time is a personal achievement that I am very proud of. Taught me resilience and determination.

I am patient, experienced and I love caring for families and their loved ones. I have worked with bed bound individuals to more mobile individuals going to their appointments. I was the primary caregiver for my grandparents for 5 years. Cooking for them, helping them bath, cleaning and assisting them with their medications and making sure they were well taken care of at all times. Taking them to appointments and just helping them in their everyday lives. I have also worked with individuals with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other challenges to help them live their best lives and have the best quality of life. Being a caregiver gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment in knowing I helped someone else have a great day and just putting a smile on their face. There is no greater feeling than caring for someone and knowing that you helped them have a good day. I am so proud that I have been available and a source of help for all the families I have worked with. I am dedicated, prompt, and truly love what I do. I recently graduated with my masters degree in health administration. And I am studying for my Long Term Care/Nursing Home Administrator Test. I truly want to spend my life working for the service of our seniors and all our loved ones who face challenges to let them know they are not alone. They deserve to live their best lives. And to have a great quality of life. That is my goal and what gets me up everyday knowing I can make a difference.

Hello, my name is Nia and I am 22 years old. I currently reside in Stockbridge, Ga and I am attending Clayton State University to earn a bachelor's in Health Sciences. I recently received my CNA certificate in hopes of becoming a home health aide as a part of my short term goals. I was once a home health aide and I loved it because I was able to help people when they truly needed it. Helping others is one of my passions because one of the best rewards is to see you made someone else's day just out of the kindness of your heart, I seen how it can mean so much to people which is what makes me have a love for doing it. I am a very caring, trustworthy, and kindhearted person. I also use to care for my grandma who had dementia and arthritis in her hands mostly until she recently passed, so now I am in search of finding a family who could really use and need my help and experience of working with seniors. I am sure to you that I can provide great service while having knowledge in many different areas about the body. Being a caregiver is something I truly have a heart for doing.
