I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others, it brings me great joy to know that I can give something back. I took care of my mother until the Lord called her home. I am taking care of my father. I enjoy listening to my clients and their experiences in life, I think we can learn a lot about life. The good and the bad. I love to talk and to see someone who might be having a bad day change by maybe something as simple hello. My most important achievement would be raising my children, they are important to me, helping them achieve their destiny. I am a very outgoing and helpful woman, I have two children, I enjoy life to the fullest.

I am a great caregiver, due to the fact that i've done it all my life. I have taken care of many family members before i choose this as a career. Geriatrics needs my kind of passion and concern. I care deeply about the feelings of others especially the elderly. I work with Dementia,Stroke,CHF and etc.. I plan to get my Nursing Degree within the next 2 years to better access the care of men and women in need.

1. Because this is my future goal that I dream off. And I have been working with this field for eight years now. 2. Love working with the elderly and disability people and also I like to help them as I do so with my other family members. 3. Being support with elderly people and take good care of them as my own parents and grandparents. And I also love to work with them so I will learn old history from them. 4. I am mother of eight children. My oldest is 21 years old and my youngest is six years old. I'm marry and my husband working as a moving company. I love to work hard for my children. I spend my days off with my children and support them with the school activity such as volleyball, basketball, flag football. I am a non smoker. I always be on time, hard work, honesty, dependable, trustworthy, social with elderly and cheer them up. To be honestly, during the summer time, I do not mind to work flexible and winter time, I really want to have weekend off, so that way I can have enough time to spend with my kids before they go to school during the week. All my children are active sports in school. Only weekends are the good time that we can spend enough time as a family when comes to school. Summer I do not have a problem.

I became a great caregiver in 1995,I was going to work with my aunt at a nursing homes,started helping the elderly,so I decided that what I wanted to do,become a caregiver and i did .I like seeing smiles on my patients face and making sure they are happy.I am proud of myself,I dropped-out of school at an early age,went and got my certification, GED,and now in college for my nursing .I'm a mother of 3 and a grand mother been married for ten years to my middle school sweet heart and attending Baton Rouge Community College to obtain my nursing degree and would like to open my own day care one day.

Hello, I'm Marilynn. The reason I became a caregiver is because the person I love dearly became ill and blind, that person is my mother. She is became legally blind due to diabetes, then after losing her kidneys. She has been blind for 9 years along with dialysis. I take care of her and love my job. I do daily duties such as making her meals,giving her medication, showering her,preparing her clothes, driving her to appointments and dialysis. I am willing to help and care for anyone who needs it.
