I worked as a CNA since 2001. BLS Certified. I've worked in Nursing homes, Hospitals, Psychiatric facility, Assisted Living and Memory Care facility, Home health and Hospice care. I'm very compassionate and care for my residents/clients as they were my own family member.

As a caregiver I have helped many people during times of need. In particular Hugh Harvey Jr. was an elderly man I took care of in a live-in situation for 2 years until he passed. Home instead was additional to my help when emergencies occurred. I made all meals, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and dessert. I consider grazing and having meals catered to tastes with healthy twist the best way to eat. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a very personal level and sharing memories and experiences. It is important to spread happiness and love. My family is mostly medical nurses and doctors, but I couldn't make it in medical school; however, I always felt better when I could be around people and help out in anyway possible. To comfort and ease one in time of need.

Honestly, I wasn't going to be in the medical field until my father was in a nursing home and did not get the treatment I felt he deserved. So, I became a CNA and graduated from a phlebotomy course at Owensboro community and technical college. I LOVE working with the alzheimer and dementia patients, I have a soft spot for them. However, I love all of my residents and people I have cared for.

I have been a caregiver for most my life for my handicapped brother. Along with taking care of my disabled father. I am proud that I can make a difference in the quality of someone's life. I put joy and love into caring for people around me.

I'm a great caregiver because I enjoy assisting those in need. I'm conscientious, professional and courteous.

1. I became a caregiver because I love helping and taking care of people and making them still feel of value. 2. I love seeing my residents smile and get excited about seeing me come because they know I'm going to take very good care of them. 3.I am proud of the fact I'm trying to further my career in the health field . 4.I am a proud mother of a teenage boy who is 15. I can sing, do hair and I am by no means an under achiever. I enjoy life and I am goal and family orientated.

I have been a passionate caregiver for over 5 years. Helping other families with their loved ones so they can stay at home fills my caring heart so very much. I have experience in home health care, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. My experience is in all aspects of caregiving that includes Alzheimer's & stroke rehab. 1. I saw the incredible love shown to my Grandmother by caregivers when I was young, and was very thankful. 2. I like working with one or two people at a time instead of 12- 15 in a nursing home situation. 3.An ongoing situation I am proud of is the smiles I see on my peoples face when I arrive. They trust me and know I will take care of them. 4. I was a Med. Tech. in the Air Force and then became a C.N.A. Have had my certificate for 4 1/2 years now. 3 years were spent in a nursing home, This last year has been taking care of two separate ladies in their homes.

I am a caring person. I truly enjoy helping those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing someone will always need my assistant. I have six years of experience. I am very careful and patient. I always perform my duties with love and tenderness.
