Hi! I'm Tatjana, most call me Tati for short. I am an extremely fun, silly but serious person. I like to look at the brighter things and not necessarily negative all the time. I enjoy caregiving because I have personally experienced bad caregiving with my great grandmother so I am always thrilled to please others. I love to see smiling faces. Hopefully I can put a smile on your loved ones faces.

If you're looking for help then this is probably a very stressful time for you and/or your loved one. There is major transition going on -- and some of it might not be welcome. I want to add to your ease, decrease your burden, make this transition easier. You're looking for someone to entrust yourself or your loved one with. You probably want someone you can depend on, who's on time, reliable, conscientious, experienced, dedicated, professional, competent. I am. And I imagine you also want someone who has "soft-skills": intuitive, compassionate, deep listener, empathetic, honest, considerate, patient. That's me too. Put them together and that means you or your loved one will receive care from someone who can hold compassionate space, listen deeply, respond to needs, anticipate what's needed, while also providing competently for health and daily tasks. In addition, I respect the people I work with and talk to them as adults and people, not as incompetent, invisible or childlike. It's a lovely dance to find the balance of inter/dependent, and try not to figuratively "step on toes" finding it. I am a certified Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, which means I can often share healthy advice, while also working within the parameters of your current medical team. With me, you or your loved one is in excellent hands, combined with a compassionate heart, and a bright mind.

I am a natural nurturer. I am very empathetic for the geriatric community. Caring for someone has always been apart of my nature. I take great pride in the work I do. I don't see caregiving as work. It is a passion.

Having elderly parents myself, I know what it's like to have "Good" home care. I will take care of your loved one like they are my own. I was introduced to caregiving upon moving to Hawaii. Hello! My name is Valencia and I am 23 years young. I am a social work major and absolutely love working with people. My goal is to complete my masters and become a hospice social worker. When I was 15 my grandpa died from ALS and I decided I wanted to be a care giver. At 18 years old I got my first job in health care at a group home with individuals who were developmentally delayed. I worked a bit in an assisted living and realized that I had a passion for geriatrics. I have experience with cerebral palsy, diabetes, autism, hospice care, non verbal and dead clients. I have excellent companionship skills. I find myself to be hard working and I have excellent people skills. I find 1 on 1 time to be very important. Everybody has a story to tell and everybody deserves to be heard. Whether you need help with meal prep, showering, med reminders, or even something as little as listening to a story or painting nails, I'll be there.

I have 10 years experience working with dementia patients, quadriplegic patients and a wide variety of other conditions varying from children to the elderly.

I'm caring and compassionate about my clients. I'm 58 years old and retired. My interest in senior care comes from watching my father and uncle as they prepared to make their transition. I cared for them and would like to extend my services to others who are going through this difficult time.

I am a good caregiver because I am kind, compassionate, patient, and good-humored. After taking an early retirement from being a counselor, to take care of my mother, I decided I enjoyed helping seniors that need assistance. Working part time for Homewatch caregiver driving clients for several reasons. Im a great companion. I drive for appts and shopping.

I am very responsible, dependable and dedicated to whatever I put my mind to. I have experienced a lot with being a caregiver and learning about the different disorder such as Alzheimer's and dementia, I have learned what to do and how handle when I am out in those circumstances. I like meeting different people and learning different things about them. What I enjoy most is helping my client improve their health and any possible disabilities they might have. My own personal achievement would be graduating college as a first generation.

Seniors are all grandmas and grandpas to me, and need help in continuing to enjoy their days. My mother and my father were living one mile form me since 2005, and I cared for them in their last years (dad passed last year at 93!!) My grandfather lived in my childhood home and he endeared himself to me, and gave me a caring for seniors. Love and respect, with personal friends, are a necessity to continuing living with a happy heart. My attention to those traits are my personal care-giving qualifications. My dear elder friend had dementia in her last years and I understand the lossness and fears felt when the memory is not active. Some of my fellow Kiwanis members also experienced this decline in memory, and I continued my friendship with them. I enjoy being a friend, a caregiver, and a "mom" to the elderly, whom deserve to continue their life in a pleasant and healthy environment.

I'm a great caregiver because I enjoy and love working and helping the elderly population. I've worked as a caregiver in the past and I enjoyed every moment I just feel like I've accomplished a huge goal by assisting and being a companion for another person who may not have anyone, that makes my heart happy.
