Hi I am an experienced caregiver With many years of experience. I have special training in the Dementias from John Hopkins. I have worked With a wide range of needs and disabilities. I love my job and it shows in my work. I have references and CPR/first Aid certified.

Working in healthcare runs in my family. My mom, both her sisters and their mom are all nurses. I got my CNA when I was in High School and got my first CNA job when I was 17.

I was a nurturer from inception. I love caring for people and helping them maintain the life they are accustomed to. I have taken care of my mom for 11 years. I am big on nutrition for health but will cook whatever is requested. I am a retired engineer so I relate well with all ages. I am good at ADLs, med reminders, hospice, companionship, gardening, cleaning and cooking.

I worked in the Fire Department of New York City as an Emergency Medical Technician and as a Dispatcher for years before I became a Certified Home Health Aid. I have 17 years experience in the medical field. I love working and caring for families.

I am a mature and caring male who is excellent at creating nurturing relationships with all ages, men and women. I have a good sense of humor which helps in securing a smile from other and building their self-esteem. I have worked in diverse settings helping others be the best they can be. What makes me a great caregiver is because I have experience in home care. I have a 93 year old grandmother who has dementia. I had been working with her for he last 5 years prior to moving to GA. I believe the best way to be a successfulcaregiver to always treat the individual the way you wnat to be treated. Ialso believe my purpose in life is to help people out and I just gravitate to my elders more than anything. With my grandmother having dementia her short term memory was what she didnt remember, she has no problem remembering things years back its just the now that defeats her. I kow how to distribute medication, help in and out of the tub,clean bed, bath, and kithen.

I am a very compassionate, positive, easy-going, and bubbly person that helps uplift people. When we don't feel ourselves, it is often scary. I like to listen, be super attentive to needs and likes, create solutions, and move forward with hope. My self- motivation often inspires others to do and be the best version of themselves. I self-cared my own alternative cancer recovery. I also cared for my mother with both conventional and alternative cancer care. My desire in being a home health companion is to give people the hope and tools to gain back health and/or live with quality of life. I like to bring the sunshine and am proud that I maintain a very healthy lifestyle physically, mentally, and emotionally. I can provide additional well-rounded healthy lifestyle services that include: nutrition, exercise, positive thinking, meditation, sound healing, lifestyle coaching, and lots of smiles and laughs!

Hi! I was a caregiver for my grandmother 24/7 for over five years. She was wheelchair-bound, severely handicapped with dementia. My daily responsibilities included companionship, giving meds, helping her with hygiene, transferring her, re-positioning her throughout the day/night so she did not get pressure sores, meal preps/feedings, working with home health care for home visits and transporting her to doctor visits. I took care of her in her final days with the help of hospice so I am experienced in the hospice process as well. For the last two years, I've been taking care of a woman with Parkinson's and dementia who lives in assisted living . Caregiving is my passion! I have a tremendous amount of experience plus my bachelors degree in psychology. I truly believe I was put on this earth to care for others. I have excellent references upon request!

I have being a caregiver for over 7years now, I have care for seniors at home and in facilities I also have experience working with Alzheimer patients and dementia . I become a Caregiver when my Mom and Grandma took sick and i felt like im the only one can take care her of them, i didn't like how other cared for them, I believe the way you want other's to treat you, you also should treat them, I believe we all have Challages in life, that don't mean we should be treated any different, when i'm able to make a person smile when they are having a bad day, I'm proud to be a Mother which i were able to help send 3 of my kids to College.I'm 40 yrs old and I cared and assist residents for 2 decades now, I enjoy my life when i'm helping someone, whose in need of my service.

I very much appreciate seniors, and respect their knowledge. Experience is a great teacher. If you give respect, you will receive respect. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and returned to school to obtain my CNA certification. 35+ years at O'hare working for an Air Freight company.

I am currently a student at Roosevelt University studying Human Resource Management. I enjoy giving back to my community, and people who may need an extra hand. I only have a few months of working a caregiver but is a very fast learner and able to catch on to clients routines and needs. I also have experience with helping this older families like my father.

I became a caregiver because of my Dad. He was paralyzed from his neck down and we had to take care of him bc no one else had the time or patience. I just loved being able to do that him and people who families just don't have the time.

I'm an easygoing person who is not easily stressed and have been told I have a great sense of humor. I pay great attention to detail, have a precise memory, and always strive to improve in whatever I'm doing. When caring for my clients, these attributes allowed me to provide them with high quality care. When I previously worked as a supervisor in a group home, the quality of care for my clients drastically increased as a result along with staff retention. It was incredibly rewarding to see my clients' improvement over time, whether that meant greater comfort or more independence, I was most encouraged to work hard for them for the sake of the improvement in their wellbeing.

I became a PCA because I am very much a people person and like helping others. What I like about it is the internal rewards you get when your client makes great strides. What I am proud of is when I was taking care of 2 autistic teens and the mother said one day to one of them "so what do you think of Jeff"? And his reply was that I fit in and that he feels more motivated just having me around. As far as myself, I am very much motivated to see progress in my clients, I am very patient and empathetic, and I just flat out like helping people.

I think I was a caregiver all of my life. I was a babysitter when I was a young girl. I cared for my mom when she had Huntington's Disease. I cared for my niece when she had no place to go and I took in her children when they were left on my front porch bruised and battered. I moved my dad into my home and cared for him while he battled cancer before passing away. And now I am caring for my husband who had surgery on his foot. This was all in addition to taking care of my four children. I love being able to be there for those who want and need help and I am grateful that I can provide that support for them.

I strive to have an upbeat attitude about life; use time management daily with my clients and work in general. I am dependable, reliable, patient and energetic. I love going places that give me joy in just being alive and I want to share that with my clients and vice versa.
