Hello, my name is Amani I am 19 years old the reason I care for helping people is because we all need a little help in the world and I also have grandparents and great grandparents that I take time out my day to help with anything they need. This will be my first time becoming an caregiver but I feel as if I will do great with this role because I do very well with helping elderly people with things they need toBe done I am very calm and patient with them because I've experienced this before with my family.

I am a very compassionate person who loves helping people. I have a good communication skill and also a really patient person. I have been a certified nursing assistant for almost 4 years while also working on acquiring my public health degree at Northern Illinois University.

I think I have great patience, and compassion for people who struggle in life. This trait served me well as teachers aid for adolescents with multiple disabilities primarily autism for 10 years.

After a successful career as an entrepreneur in technology, the one thing I believe made me most successful was my ability to relate to people. When you can make people feel good about their lives, inspire them to do better, make them laugh, engage them in interesting conversation - that is a great feeling. As a child I watched how difficult it was for my grandparents to get around, my mother is in her upper 80's now, and has the spirit and sharpness of a 25 year old but needs help doing simple physical tasks. I want to use my spare time to put a smile on a person's face, encourage them to look forward to another day of life, and help keep them healthy both physically and mentally. Life is short, we need to make it better for those who are challenged with older age. This is why I enjoy being a caregiver!

Hello! I am a farm girl that is focused on being environmentally friendly and giving back to the earth. I am a people person and value relationships greatly. I enjoy helping others and greatly enjoy being of use to help another individual. I am strong, caring, patient person.

I become a caregiver because I love caring for others especially those who can care for themselves. What set me as great caring person is that I consider my clients as my own family and feel happy when they feel happy.

I have been working in the health care field for five years now. I enjoy helping others and I feel it is my duty to bring smiles on my patients face. I have done Home Health Care and I am a manager at a Senior Assistant Living Community. I am a certified nursing assistant and also have a current CPR card. I love what I do and I am also furthering my education and working towards becoming a RN (Nurse).

I left a high level corporate job 14 years ago to stay at home with my 2 children. Over the years, I have remained in that field on a part time basis. A few years ago, I lost my mother suddenly and had to find help caring for my father who has Alzheimers. During this process I learned so much. Because my dad wanted to stay in Florida, we had to find caretakers we trusted. I know how difficult this process can be. I am caring and nurturing and want to be that trusted person for a family. While I can definitely work in the business world, I really want to make a difference for family. I am nurturing, patient and caring. I will treat your family member as my own.

I am a compassionate individual who enjoys providing exceptional care to people of different ages. It gives me great satisfaction to help someone and to bring positive change to people. I am a sociable person with a natural capability of providing continuous care. Empathy is embedded in my personality and I am a great listener. Providing emotional support and ensuring that the patient surroundings are organized and safe is very important to me as a caregiver.

I am a good caregiver because I am kind, compassionate, patient, and good-humored. After taking an early retirement from being a counselor, to take care of my mother, I decided I enjoyed helping seniors that need assistance. The most enjoyable part of being a caregiver is to know I tried to help someone to lead the life they chose. Living at home is preferred by many seniors--yet has its challenges. It gives me joy when I help people succeed. For my personal life: My achievements that I am most proud of are raising my three children and seeing them be happy.

I have a keen eye and quality observation skills for marking the patient's mental and physical health. I'm very compassionate and empathic towards my clients. I have been caregiving most of my life. I started taking care of my grandfather while he was afflicted by Alzheimer's. My first child was born with a brain injury and was considered severe and profound. I chose to love him and take care of him in a home environment for his entire life which grew to 23 years. I also cared for my grandmother throughout all surgeries and aftercare. In addition I have knowledge of spinal cord injuries and care.

Hello! I am a bilingual/bicultural individual with a wide range of experience with children, impoverished families, persons in crisis, persons with developmental disabilities, teen moms, families, and the elderly. I have worked for families providing transportation for their children to/from school and really enjoyed it and have also prvoded babysitting and elderly care services over the years.

I became a Caregiver because I feel like I am making a difference in someone's life. A smile, touch or words of encouragement can add so much to the life of a sick or elderly person. This kind of connection makes my job more than what it is and that gives me personal satisfaction. I like being a Caregiver because I enjoy meeting new people, and no 2 days are the same. I'm proud of graduating from CNA school at the top of my class and passing the state CNA class on the first try. I am married with 3 very active teenage boys. I enjoy being an active mom in their lives. Originally I am from Naperville, Illinois. My husband's company transferred to Fort Worth in 2008. I have had various other positions. Late summer last year was when I started my studes for my CNA career.

It is very important for me to let my patients know that i care and is willing to do anything i can do to help them. I'm very trustworthy, patient, flexible, and reliable. I'm trying to fulfill my dream in becoming an Registered Nurse and i wanted to start off from learning how to build this bond with my patients so that they will feel comfortable and know that they are in good hands.
