Hi, My name is Sherry. I am an experienced caregiver with previous experience in the medical field. My passion is helping the elderly and pride myself with the co.passionate, loving care I bring. I try to make our day as enjoyable for your loved one as possible, with activities they like, such as crossword puzzles, puzzles, and cards. I have had numerous couples I have cared for through the years; that I will truly miss; as they became like family. Dependable, Punctual, Loving, Caring, Funny and enjoy my job. I'm available Mon - Wednesday's during the day. I do have written referances from previous clients.

After years of office work, followed by many more years of nannying for two wonderful boys, I decided to finally follow my passion for caring for people and go back to school to become a CNA. I finished school (with a 4.0 gpa) in May of 2016, and have been caring for a family member, while working as a part time nanny since. I did my clinicals at a nursing home, and decided that home caregiving would be a better fit for me, because of the ability to give that special one on one care that I know I would want for my loved ones.

My entire life consists of care giving. In addition to helping seniors, I have helped grandparents before they left me as well as friends with HIV. I'm an organic vegetable and flower gardener. I own and love rescue animals. I love being a caregiver every time the patients either smile or thank me because I know that I have made them happy.

I am very outgoing and strive to help others. I enjoy learning about others and helping them through difficulties they may endure. To be a great caregiver, compassion is involved. Since I was a child, I always knew I wanted to help others however I could, whether lending an ear to listen, being a friend, or lending a helping hand. I believe that is what attracted me to become a caregiver. I want to become a nurse when I finish school. I am a well rounded CNA I worked at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge on the Stroke Neurology floor for three years. I have ALOT of experience with Dementia / Alzheimer's . I also clean and cook. I am sensitive to the needs of the individual.

I am a CNA. I have been for almost 22 years now. I went to Oakton Community College straight out of High School. While I did go off and do other jobs in Corporate positions, I have always kept my CNA Certification up to date because that's truly my passion.

I became a caregiver after seeing my family members get sick and have nobody to take care of them. That made me sad when i was younger. I like that i can be the hands,ears,and eyes for a person that cant don't think on there own. Having some body looking up to me knowing that i won't let them down. I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people. I'm a very outgoing upbeat person, I'm a very patient person and love talking to people. the biggest reason i became a CNA is because i love to help people and make them happy.

I have been a CNA for 24 years and love what I do. I have worked in a hospital, nursing homes, assisted living facilities as well as home care & hospice. I was named Caregiver of the Year for 2017 by my current employer.

My first experience with caregiving was with my own grandmother. She had a strong desire to stay in the home she loved, but could no longer take care of herself. I assisted her with medication, dressing, toileting, meals, and cleaning. Right before her passing I earned my CNA certificate. My certification has since lapsed (but the knowledge and experience remain), as I chose to pursue another passion of mine, cooking. I have held lead cook positions at two different skilled nursing facilities in the area, and am certified by the state of Illinois in safe food handling practices. When I care for someone, I consider them to become a part of my family, and provide the kind of care that I hope to receive in the future. I have my own reliable transportation. My requested rate can be negotiated.

I like to have conversations with my client, that way helps me to know my client what they really need even they don't say it, and that way helps me to improve my English-speaking. I had two years experiences as a nurse aid at Claremont rehab and living center in Buffalo Grove. I started doing care giving a couple months ago. Pls!! Hello ! My name is Esther and I'm in school for nursing (pediatrics). Ever since I was 7years old I knew that I wanted to work with and take care of children. At the age of 10 I started babysitting my brother and other family members such as my cousins. I've worked as a caregiver and a CNA for 4 years going on 5. I love what I do because I get to care for those around me. When I'm not working or in school I love cooking, watching movies, and or trying to expand my knowledge on things going on around the world.

1. I came interested in caregiving when I was young and growing up, my grandmother took care of my great grandma who was blind eventually. I will sit close too her and she could only see me if I was wearing my red dress which wore all the time to make her happy so that she can recognize me. I loved her so much and I will do anything to make her happy. 2.It helps me feel good that I do something to improve ones quality of life. 3.when I made the lady walk after she was sick couldn't walk and I told her to tell herself that she can do it and by the grace of God she started walking. 4.I'm a nursing assistant for 11 years working with patients with different challenges in life. my duties include but not least to: giving showers, dressing and grooming, feeding, helping with ADLs etc. I also worked for hospice for 5 years as a hospice CNA. I work as a caregiver helping clients to ran their errands, taking them to the Dr's appointments ect.

I am an honest reliable and talented person. I have been a nanny, in home care for elderly, house/pet sitting. I have ran errands including shopping for clothes, groceries.. I am a cosmetologist, therefore I can do personal styling. I am a very good and I can keep family organized.

I'm a great caregiver because I'm very compassionate , patient, a great company to be around and I do my job very thoroughly. I became a caregiver because my mom was a caregiver also. I enjoy seeing my clients happy and doing well.

What makes me a great caregiver is my ability handle a challenge and care for those in need. I became a care giver because I love to help and care for people and put a smile on there face. And being able to put a smile on someone's face melts my heart.
