I'm a mother, daughter and granddaughter. My grandpa passed away in 2000, leaving my legally blind grandma alone. At that time I knew she needed me more than ever. As the years went by, her needs became more and more. It gave me the opportunity to spend more time with her. Listening to her stories of the "old days" learning how to make her favorite recipes so she was able to taste them again. It was very humbling. Through the years, I gave birth to two beautiful daughters now 16 and 18. I also cared for many other children over the years. My whole life I've cared for others in one way or another. Not long after high school, I became a CNA. After a couple of years I decided to join the military to serve my country. I love helping where I can, I know how it feels to have an elderly loved one and worry every day that they are being cared for and having conversations to keep their minds sharp. So, all and all I'm excited to have to opportunity to care for your family member.

What makes me a great care giver is that i have been doing this job for a very long time i understand what it mean when a family has to put there trust in someone hands to take care of there family and them to be a stranger to them with that in mind i make sure that i treat and i take care of people the way i woukd want my family taken care of

i became a caregiver because there was a time that my mother was hospitalized for a few days and i saw good and bad of being a caregiver. i saw the good that involved being able to help others that could not do it on their own and just being able to be there for them and offer as much as i could, and i saw the bad because in some places they lack professional compassionate caregivers and i saw that in me that i could be caring and also show these people in need that there is people out there that still enjoy helping and beeing able to be there for one another. i am proud that with my hard work i been able to work full time and go to school and became a c.n.a is a small step but you must start at the bottom of the ladder to get to the top. i am a hispanic 22 year old male that puts his heart into everything he does and just think that any one that i am helping is someone very close to me and give them the respect and service that they deserve.

Hi I'm Brogan. I am 21 years old. I have a dog named Sassy and a gecko named Blue. I graduated high school in 2015 from South Fork and been working since I was 16 years old. I currently work as a Nurse assistant at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Il. I have worked there for 2 years and been doing CNA work for 3 years. I not only have experience with the elderly and adults, but children as well. I have my own transportation and am CPR certified as well. I am caring and down to earth and love to be around people. I am very outdoorsy and easy to get along with. I have had health issues of my own in the past and it has inspired me to want to help others. I enjoy meeting all the patients and their families. In this line of work you run into so many wonderful people. I needed a second job and wanted to work in a field I love & I have always wanted to do in home care.

I have done caregiving off and on for 15 years until I decided to do it full time. I really enjoy working with the elderly and keeping them in their homes. I am mild mannered. I will love your parents/grandparents/ and lived ones as if they were my own.

I have senior work experience from helping my own father who has heart failure and memory loss from other conditions. I help him around the house with cleaning, dishes, organizing along with taking him to the grocery store and other places he wants to go. I help him get the services he needs such as extra assistance cleaning. I am unable to do any lifting so client needs to be mobile. I can offer guidance only such as my arm or side by side guidance. I won't work in a smoking home. I love animals and am able to help the client care for their pet as well. I have a car which I can utilize to run errands for the customer. I have two cats at home that are spoiled.

I believe being a caregiver is my purpose here on earth for sure, its my passion. No better feeling than being able to help. Health care is all i have ever done since high-school. I transitioned from a CNA to an LPN and i am very fluent with my skills

I've been a caregiver for a long time. It's more than just a job I go to everyday. I love it when a person can stay in their own home, where they are comfortable and feel secure rather than be admitted into a nursing facility. I believe that people heal better and do better in their own homes but many times, without help, they are unable to stay at home. Some need more help than others and I never push but rather see how much they can do for themselves and be a standby-assist where necessary. I do for my clients what they can no longer do for themselves.

Hi my name is Debora Smith I go by Debbi and I have been a CNA for over 30 years , I am passionate about caring for ours . I have work Hospice and several hospitals and nursing home settings. I am well rounded which makes it easy to adjust to any and all challenges and situations. I have always had the desire and the willingness to help others in any way that I can from running errands for neighbors to sitting with a sick family members or friends.
