I am a very patient and understanding person when it comes to dealing with clients. I have always wanted to help people so I want to become a personal trainer/ strength coach but caregiving is just another way of me helping people which I love to do. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is building those relationships and getting to know your clients. A personal achievement that I am proud of is graduating and getting my associates degree!

I became a caregiver because I take great pleasure in helping others. I enjoy making others smile and feel good about themselves. I enjoy meeting new people and have met some wonderful families in this business. My personal achievement is watching my daughters following their dreams. I am caring and compassionate and sincerely enjoy my job. Children and older adults will always have a place in my heart. Our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents have to be handled with care and I am the right person for the task.

I have 5 children who are all grown and two in college. I have 3 grand children. Ive been working as a CNA/Caregiver for 20 years and I love what I do. Hello, I have been a caregiver for over five years. Being a Caregiver is my passion and my calling. I tried so many other jobs but being a caregiver has giving me the most joy and been the most rewarding. What I like the most about my job is meeting all different types of people and their families. I have worked in the field of care from the age of 17 and enjoy helping those in need of reaching their highest potential as well as comfort. I enjoy taking care of people. I always have since I was a child. I use to work with children as a nanny for 7 years before becoming a mom myself. I'm patient, understanding, kind and compassionate. Hello, I am a mother of five and a grandmother of three. I am 41 years old and currently in school working on finishing my bachelors degree so I can become a case manager for disabled adults. I have many years experience working with disabled children and adults including personal care, hoyer lifts, transfers, feeding, meals, meds, diabetes,etc.I can adapt easily to any situation.

I have cared for non-family members whom are elderly for over 10 years; One of whom was a paraplegic, another was basic elderly care, another was Cerebral palsy and most recently is a woman with MS and her medically fragile husband. I have been caring for the later for over two years. I organize all their medical appointments and work very closely with the doctors, therapists, and manage three other caregivers that work for them. I do the scheduling of all the caregivers (90+ hours a week), make sure all of them are following procedures, and hire and fire employees. I am responsible for 100% of the medication management as well including the Warfarin management. I have many local and current references that will tell you that they love my dependability, and meticulous attention to detail in each and everything I do.

I'm currently in school becoming an LPN. I love taking care of people. It just comes natural to me. Just to be able to be the one to make someone else happy warms my heart. It's not always an easy job being a caregiver, but it's very rewarding.

MY PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT , WELL I CANT CALL IT AN ACHIEVEMENT YET BECAUSE I HAVENOT GRADUATED BUT AM PROUD ABOUT THE FACT THAT I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL AFTER GETTING CERTIFIED AS A NURSING ASSISTANT, I WENT BACK TO START A DEGREE PROGRAM TO BECOME A RN. AM FROM A FAMILY OF 5 AM THE LAST AND AM FRIENDLY AND NOT TALKATIVE. I AM A GRAET CAREGIVER BECAUSE I ALWAY PUT THE SAFETY AND WELLBEING OF MY CLIENT IN PLACE BEFORE TAKING ANY DECISION CONCERNING THEM, I ALWAY TRY TO ENSURE THAT THEY UNDERSTAND OR KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING TO AND WHAT WE ARE DOING AT THE MOMENT BY TALKING TO THEM REPEATEDLY, AND AM VERY PATIENT WITH MY CLIENT.
