I love seen the change that occurs when you see changes happens when no one thought they would.My personal achievement is listen to a client who has never spoken a word say several words and knowing that I was part of that through hard work, consistance, patience. I am a 56 yr old woman who has worked in this field of work for about 20 yrs. I have managed a group home for 9 YRS.and was supervisor /med tech at assist living for 8 YRS. I now work with a 11 yr old boy with down syndrone who I have been with for 6 yrs. I enjoy caring for people.

I have been a caregiver for 2 and a half years . I started caregiving after I watched my great great grandmother fall victim to cancer . The caregiver she had was mistreating her and giving her drugs. When my family found out we realized the best thing to do was to have a family member look after her . She pasted away at 101 and from there I knew that that was something I needed to do . I needed to become a caregiver to help other seniors and to work with families that felt comfortable and secure that I would do my best to make their lives better. My best and biggest accomplishment since I have been doing this is teaching a 97 year old lady to learn to use computers, email, text , and FaceTime . I sincerely enjoy looking after seniors because I get to learn about different things and aspects of life .

My name is Priska and I'm 26 years old. I've been working as a caregiver for 6 years now. I have so many experience working with elderly. I'm very honest and I love to help people that are in need. When I was young I helped taking care of my grandma and since then I started to love taking care of elderly no matter what it's a blessing. I love to make them happy by singing and be with them whenever they need me.

Their way back into his/her community, and daily activities. having someone come back and thank you after helping them with their transition back into life.

I WANT TO WORK. Personal achievement Hiking the Camino de Santiago 800 KM across the Pyrenees of France across Spain. Unassisted. Moving myself from Colorado to Arizona driving a 20 ft. moving truck through the mountains of Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona were unique challenges.. i did it myself! My standard operating mode is doing the very best of my ability per any given task.

I chose to become a caregiver because it is one of the most rewarding jobs a person can do. I have a passion for putting others first. When I see someone with an intellectual or physical disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life it makes all the challenges along the way worthwhile. I am willing to make small changes to my everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with a disability. I love being a caregiver because of the joyous and grateful feelings I get when I see a patient positvely respond to the enviornment and care that I have provided. I am very proud of my work ethic. I get things done fast but to the best of my capabilites. I am reliable, loyal and I enjoy coming up with better solutions to problems. A fact about myself is that in the next ten years I see myself as a Physicians Assistant.

I've been taking Care of my mother for 6 years now. Taking her to the doctor, administrating meds, meal prep, shopping and helping her with toileting, bathing and getting her dressed. I also have been taking care of my niece and nephew that are cerebal palsy. I give them baths, meal prep, meds and transport them. My mother recently passed and I'm available to work during the day.

I have been caregiver for over 10 years. I started helping family members and with my children all grown I'm doing it professionally. Helping people is a joy for me. I am a Generic Nursing Assistant with 25 years of experience. During my teen years I took care of my grand father so I have a special heart helping the elderly. My name is Leony. I am 22 years old. Despite my young age, I am a very hardworking person. I have been working as a CNA since high school. I also worked in an assisted living assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, etcs), administer medication and meal prepping. I also worked one-on-one person care and do respite at home. I have worked with elderly, dementia, stroke recovery, injured, and even disability. All the patient I worked with enjoy my work cause I speak kindly, I don't complain, very understanding and compassionate.

I am a grandma and I take care of my grandson who is 3 years old now since birth. When I retired I went to school and received HHA certification and worked for a while as a home health aid and than as a companion. I have experience with dementia and senior care. I am very kind and treat the people that are in my care the way I would want to be treated and I have excellent references.
