Hello! My name is Britton Black and I decided to become a caregiver a long time ago due to something I experienced in my very own family. On October 2010 I moved in with my Uncle and my sick Aunt. She had just been diagnosed with ALS at the time I moved in. I felt so beyond blessed to be able to help her and my uncle through the tough time they had ahead. At the same time I was attending LPN school and learned everything that I needed to know to help my uncle take care of my aunt. It was a very eye opening experience. It touched my life and I would never trade that experience I had with my family and especially with my aunt. I knew that after my aunt passed away that care giving was meant for me and I was definitely in the right field. I am currently a LPN waiting to take my boards so I can bridge to my RN. I think care giving is definitely my calling.

I got into CNA work after I helped care for my grandfather I've been a CNA for 11 years I have tons of experience and also home health experience. I currently have my CPR license, I've always been fond of geriatrics and want to continue working in the field

I love caring for people. I will go out of my way to help anybody that needs my help. The main reason why I wanted to be a nurse is when my grandfather passed away and I felt like I could have done something to prevent it.

Hi my name is Haley, I have been a state tested nursing assistant for 8 years. I became a state tested nursing assistant when I was 16 years old. I graduated high school a year early to become a full time caregiver for my mother. I have always had a passion and love for the healthcare field, I Absolutely love being able to help someone in need and be that person that can make their day better in any way possible. I am currently in school for my bsn at Galen college of nursing. I do work with a family in west Chester three days a week Monday-Wednesday so I am only available right now two days a week Thursday and Friday. I am looking to work Thursday and Friday 10am to 6pm.

I am a very empathetic, caring, and respectful individual. I love being a caregiver because I am able to help people in so many different ways. This gives my life a sense of fulfillment and purpose. I got into caregiving because I am going to be a nurse, and I think this is the perfect job to get an introduction to the field of nursing. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is the interaction that I am able to have with the patients. An achievement I am very proud of is getting accepted into nursing school. I am one step closer to my dream of being a nurse!

I am a mother of 3 my oldest having type 1 diabetes. I grew up taking care of people. My grandfather, whom I lived with growing up was diagnosed with terminal cancer when I was 3. He had passed shortly after my 5th bday. There were nurses in and out and the entire family took short classes to provide daily care for him. I have wanted to become a nurse since then.

Hello, my name is Zaya White and I am 20 years old. I'm currently in Nursing school attending Galen College of Nursing, and I've had plenty of experience with caregiving. I think this is a great way to kick off my career and I'm using this time to get the proper experience I need.

Enjoy caring for people of all ages, especially geriatrics. I feel proud, accomplished and supportive as a caregiver. I am currently in Nursing school but I am proud most of being a nursing assistant for over 5 years now.

I'm not a Caregiver but would like to become one because of the flexibility in hours. I have been a Medical Assistant/Research Coordinator for the last 20 years. My personal achievement has been taking the medical assisting experience to a higher degree with clinical research. I'm going to school at Galen School of Nursing right now for my LPN and I would love to help out the geriatric population in my community, all while furthering my education.

Hello! My name is Penelope. I am currently a nursing student, graduating with my bachelor's degree this year! I want to be a pediatric home health nurse when I graduate so I would love some experience working as a patient care assistant in a home, since my only experience has been in a hospital and rehab hospital.
