I started caregiving when my dad was diagnosed with dementia. I really enjoyed it and decided to do in-home care. I like meeting new people and have found caregiving to be very rewarding.

I love helping others and it's always been in in blood. I started working on the Telemetry floor at a hospital while in college and fell in love with the medical field and people. Caring for others is definitely my calling. Shortly after that I took great care of my grandmother who had dementia and knew me half the time. I'm glad I got to have that time with her. I have had my own health trials and have had to overcome more in my life that I ever thought possible. When I got to the point of good health again the first thing I wanted to do was help others and that's what keeps me going. I am warm, compassionate, funny and all around just a nice person. I feel weird explaining myself like that but I am going on what others have said as well. Thank you for taking time to read this.

I've always loved helping elderly people. Part of what makes me a great caregiver is that people I care for tell me I understand them even when no one else seems to. I also have the gift of extreme patience when working with elderly people with dementia. They never drive me crazy, most likely because of lots of exposure early in life to that sort of thing. Of course, I'm completely trustworthy. But I also have unusually high integrity, excellent values and am unusually responsible and capable. I have extensive college training in medical information and know what to do. I've been trained by some of the best private caregivers in Louisville and have a network of other excellent caregivers. I have a very wide range of experience in this area up to and including working closely with hospice staff. I'm a multi-talented individual who's an unusually accomplished American. Therefore, I have all kinds of personal achievements I'm proud of. I simply enjoy this type of service and autonomy more than most types of professional work I've done.

Hi! I am Stephanie, a 19 year old nursing student. I have been a CNA for over a year now and absolutely love my job. I believe in providing compassionate and dignifying care to everyone. I am able to help with activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, transfers, meal prep, and house work. I have a valid drivers license and a car and can assist with grocery shopping/ errands, as well as provide transportation to doctors appointments.

I'm very attentive to patterns and detail. I love to help people and I also love a challenge. I enjoy staying busy and helping others stay busy because I know depression can set in the longer you set with no activity and sometimes that is what makes anybody just give up! I was told that a prior patient of mine wouldn't let anyone take care of her and they went through ten people in one month, I was with here after that for 4 years!!

After working for years as an emergency room nurse, I have enjoyed private duty nursing and volunteer nursing at school clinics, indigent care clinics, KHELPS, and for backside track workers. I have 4 adult children and 6 young grandchildren to keep me busy when I am not nursing.

Hello, I have been a nursing assistant for approximately 28 years. I have worked in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals and home health. I recently moved to Georgetown, Ky after working in Cincinnati in a cardiovascular intensive care unit. I am looking for a position as a caregiver of either a senior or a family. I am great with children and even provided day care services in my home some years ago. I am honest, loyal, hardworking, optimistic, cheerful, prompt, and a non-smoker. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable with pets. I am seeking long-term employment with a team-oriented family or senior. i am a great caregiver i love caring for others , companionship means alot so thats what i offer , most times its just caring and being genuine with care it means alot to patients , i am always on time and prompt to my clients homes as well as respecting their privacy goes a long way , i respect my clients as they do me and i take care of their home as though it were mine which is superb i have been taking care of patients with home health aide experience of 27 years , never second guessed the care i give because my clients are always clean and happy when i leave and even more happy when i arrive

I've been in the medical field and a certified nurses aide for 3 1/2 years, but I just moved here to NC from KY and my license doesn't transfer so I have to retake the classes and exam but I am experienced and working on getting certified in the state of NC! I love all of my residents and care for them as if they were my own parents or family. Everyone needs someone they can count on to help them when needed!
