I have been a caretaker for someone with bipolar disorder, Louis-body dementia and another that was paralyzed by a stroke. As a caretaker I had to shower them and dress them as well as prepare meals and assist feeding them as well as get them out for walk or a drive to enjoy life a little. That is important if they are able. I can't help but be moved to compassion because I can't imagine losing my independence. I studied occupational therapy in college and had to volunteer, So I chose to work with the elderly. It was so rewarding to see them smile. Ever since then I have had caregiving jobs off and on. What I enjoy most about caregiving is knowing they are well cared for. I have built a bonds with those I've cared for. I am proud of my boys. They are my best achievement and continue to blow me away with the people they are becoming.

I am a profenional young lady who loves helping others in needs. I become a CNA in 2009 and I started working as CNA in 2010.I have over 6 years of experience while I am in school and I have a full time job I still helping other just because of my loving heart and the way my families raise me. what's motivated the most is the difference that I make in people's life and the gratitude that they showed me at the end that is something that I cherish to the botton of my heart. I have been working with the elderly and disabled for about fifteen years and love every minute of it ... I have worked with clients of multiple needs and abilities. I have years of experience and training with dementia, Alzheimer's, short term memory, mobility, behavioral and medical needs .. My clients have been male, female and some children. i can do Hoyer lifts, ADL's, activities, medication, wound care, meals and feeding, companionship and care and comfort just about everything!!! I have worked with clients in nursing homes, ALF's, residential group homes as well as private care in homes.
