Hi my name is Melissa I am a home health aide cna I have been in field over 25 years I enjoy working with people of all ages and enjoy helping others I've had extensive experience with dementia and Alzheimer's also transfers colostomy care and a variety of other conditions

I have been in the customer service industry for the past 3 years but more recently have taken on private clients and provided them with superb service in the home health care setting. My passion for providing the upmost care in home health has led me to continue my education and obtain my CNA license, CPR, and my Alzheimer and Dementia certificate.

I have been working as a caregiver for the past 5 years I have worked in assisted living center and in home as a private caregiver. I enjoy working with client of all ages, ability to develop great relationship with them and their families I am trustworthy and responsible person who take great pleasure in all kinds of caregiver tasks. I love my job ,I love what I do and I love help and make people smile.I regularly attend workshops on partient care and routine medical care.

I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. This can help improve the daily lives of this population. Ive been a CNA for 8 years and what drew me to this field was the need of compassion towards our elderly community. I love what i do because although each client has family members most cant attend to the clients needs due to their personal lives and thats wherr i come in and fill that temporary void.

This is not an occupation I have been in, My background is surgery, and endoscopoy, and massage therapy. However, I am by nature a nurturing, caring person. Last year in the pandemic , I had to quit work as something that I love to do and that's helping people, especially the love ones who can't help them self, all because I have a heart disease, and can't work in the facilities.
