I have always loved helping and taking care of people as a child. I realized it was a talent I had when I grew up and I have loved it ! I enjoy putting smiles on people's faces from the help I give them. As a caregiver, I've learned to love and beloved by my patients. They teach me new things each day. Hi! I'm a student from Johns Hopkins University working as a caregiver. I consider myself to be empathetic, attentive, and hardworking in everything I do. My introduction to caregiving was for my grandmother when I was in highschool, and I found the experience to be very meaningful in its lessons of patience and kindness. I love the nature of being able to form a personal and emotional connection with others, and I consider those I work with to be more than just clients. They are unique and complex human beings with life stories to share. More than anything, I enjoy being able to work while listening and getting to know them.

I am a very focused, objective, patience, organized and caring person I like to study I like to work and conquer my independence I started working very young and for me it is one of my joys to be able to work with the elderly I helped my mother take care of my grandmother for years, and now I I work in nursing home as a CNA.

I become a caregiver because I like taking care of people especially the elderly. I am proud of what I do because I know one day I will be in that position, wanting to get care. I am married with 3 boys and I am going to school at DCCCD trying to get my Associate.

I became a Caregiver when I realized how rewarding it felt to care for someone else. I was introduced to a wonderful elderly gentleman looking for someone to take care his wife. The relationship between the three of us flourished. The wife began to respond to daily care, personal hygiene, dressing,conversations, etc. I found we both had a lot in common; old movies, sewing, cooking, and dancing. The husband became very comfortable knowing there was someone he could trust in his home to take care of his wife. This relationship, in addition to others, is why I became a Caregiver. Being a Caregiver is about Compassion for others, looking out for someone else's needs besides your own. It's about Passion, being passionate about what you're doing and knowing that you are making a difference in a persons' life regardless of their age. Committed to the task, commited to the client, committed to learn something new everyday, comitted to developing a lasting relationship even if it's only for a short time. Companionship, I found everyone needs companionship in their life , especially the elderly. I have made it my mission to connect with those that I am responsible to take care of on a daily basis. This is what I like about being a Caregiver. One of my personal achievements I am proud of was receiving the Baltimore City Citation Award for Community Service, a recognition of serving the community for feeding the less fortunate, assisting those in need of summer jobs, and helping in the

Growing up, every great grandparent, and grandparent on both sides of my family, suffered from the Alzheimer's gene. I watched and assisted with their care and witnessed their deterioration my entire childhood and adult life. Naturally, I sought genetic testing and learned I am a carrier of the gene. I am pursuing a career in medicine with a double major in Biology (for Pre-Med) and Neurosciences (studying regressive neurological diseases and mental disorders). I am also a mom of 2. I enjoy providing companionship care and have extensive experience (both personal and professional) and knowledge of senior care and dementia/Alzheimer's. I provide the same care to families that I would give to my own. I'm a driven, passionate person who enjoys reading, outdoor activities of any kind, and am an avid believer that anything is possible if we set out to achieve it. I hope that I can give your family peace of mind and comfort your loved ones in their time of need.

Hello! My name is LiAnn Morris and I am a current student at Johns Hopkins University. I became a caregiver when my grandfather moved in with my family in 2014 after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Later, when he was moved to a assisted living facility, I began working there as well. At this facility, I help multiple residents who are affected by neurodegenerative diseases with ADL's (e.g. bathing, hygiene, preparing food, cleaning). I have worked in a professional setting and have been trained to help care for people with dementia. From living with my grandfather and working in a facility, I understand the compassion and patience it takes to be a great caregiver for a diverse range of people.

I am a positive person. I have a million dollar smile and a heart of gold. I love senior citizens and the elderly. I am full of energy and I love to be a caregiver. I am reliable, professional, loyal, caring, educated and friendly. I have dealt with patients with Alzheimer's and Dementia, as well as cancer patients. I have education in the Medical field. I have taken CPR classes and courses through the federal government. People of all ages love my personality and positivity.

Hello! I am an RN with 6 months experience in the ICU looking for some part time or one time jobs. I also was a home care aide before going to nursing school. I love cooking and am able to make a variety of cuisines including Italian, Indian, Mexican, Thai and American and can easily adapt to dietary needs. I have a car and a great driving record.
