I have worked with Disabled adults for 11 years and I truly love it. I enjoy helping others to be their best self. I am a CNA and CMT.

I have been a caregiver for a little over 20 years. While I was a senior in high school I received my GNA certification. I have worked in Nursing homes, hospitals and I have also owned and operated a small home health care business. I've always had a soft spot for the elderly and I enjoy brightening their day and making their day just a little bit easier for them. I am also a licensed senior cosmetologist, so I can also take care of some personal grooming for the ladies and gentleman!

I am passionate about making life for seniors better. I strive to do whatever they need to be comfortable and happy.

Becoming a caregiver has been one of my greatest accomplishments in life. Knowing that I am providing care for individuals to make their lives easier is what makes me wake up everyday wanting to go to work, just to see the smiles I bring to their faces. It was difficult at first, but I believe my greatest achievement I have made along my journey as a caregiver for the past two years, is the patience I've attained.

Hi, I have been working in the Medical field since my very first real full time job. Since I was 17. I became a CNA In 1997 and I worked in nursing homes, in-home care and also hospital settings. I later decided to further my education to phlebotomy. Caring for people has and always will be my passion. I enjoy learning, I'm very passionate, caring, energetic and an all around happy a person. I have a lot of skills in house keeping, laundry, helping people with daily things from bathing, dressing, to preparing food. I am also very good as a companion for I do have a huge family of 6 kids. I am very good at being patient for that is one thing to be good at when having a huge family of kids. Or for anyone you take care of. I have always lived by the rule and thought of always treat and take care of someone like you would like to be. Helping others is an everyday thing for me. If I am not helping someone out In anyway I feel like I am not giving my all. My heart is very big and has room for more. I will go all out in taking care of a loved one in all ways I know how. I become a geriatric nursing assist because i love to help the elderly. What I like about what I do is to see the smiles on the faces of the people I care for. They truly know why I do what I do. I am proud of my 2 child. I am proud that I sent myself to school to learn to be in the position I am in. I truly love what I do. I have 7 years experience working directly with Alzhiemer's and dementia residents. I have worked in long term care, rehabilitation and home health care. I am a compassionate caring person looking to care for your loved one.

I've been a caregiver for many years, I started in this line of business after watching my grandmother become Ill. I believe that everyone should be cared for in a loving environment.

1) Why did you become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because I feel that people who cannot care for their selves and need dedicated and compassionate people to take care of them. 2) What do you like about being a caregiver? I love interacting with different people of different cultures and leaving work at the end of the day knowing that I have accomplished my goals in helping people in need. 3) What is a personal achievement you are proud of? A personal achievement I am proud of is becoming fully independent. I am also proud of returning to school to further my education. 4) Tell us something about yourself. I am a very hard worker who feels passionate about healthcare and am also dedicated to the nursing field. I plan on working as a nursing assistant (caregiver) for a couple of years before attaining my degree as an RN. I feel that a lot of individuals become a nurse or nursing assistant because they feel that there are always jobs available for them. I am not one of these people. I have cared for several family members and fully understand the importance of establishing a connection with patients and feeling passionate about your job as a nurse or nursing assistant.

I became a caregiver to be able to make a difference in peoples lives and to be able to help others. I get to help patients and their families on a daily basis. My greatest achievement is getting my CNA/GNA with high scores. I am a very outgoing person.

Hello! My name is Maria, I'm a single mom of one and have been attending community college part time to finish my career in nursing. I've always loved taking care of others and hope that one day my son will care for me as I have for others.

I became a care giver to make a difference. Making some one's life a little bit better. Completing the cna/gna course, running my own business for 20 years. I have enjoyed knowing and meeting so many different people in my life.

I love be a caregiver. I'm patients, caring, and loving. I'm a certified nursing/geriatric nursing assistant. I've worked with a wide range of individual with intellectual disabilities, dementia, amputees, and a lot more. When I was little I always knew I wanted to help others. I was not sure what it was yet but I knew I wanted to make a difference. As I got older my grandmother was diagnosed with a rare disease that caused a decline in her health and made it very hard for her to do things on her own. My passion for being a caregiver stems from her I loved helping my grandmother. Making someone more comfortable, a little less worried, and overall happier makes a world of difference and that's a rewarding feeling for me. I'm currently furthering my education to become a medical sonography.
