I possess many skills and experience when it comes to caregiving. I am a mother of four adult children and I have 6 years of assisting multiple families with with male and female senior care. I am dependable, very compassionate, caring, and an empathetic person. Through my experience I have learned that when caring for the elderly it is important to have patience, be understanding, a good listener, aware of the needs of your loved one, and at times a problem solver. It is also very important to have good communications and relationship with the family. My passion in life is to take of care people, to treat them with respect, love and kindness.

I am a 26 yr old female with a great passion for the elderly. When I was 6yrs old I became extremely attached to my grandfather who had become bed written from a stroke. I watched my mom take care of him for 3yrs day in and day out. It is imperative to me that those who are unable to live completely independent still have the opportunity to live a life worth living and I became a CNA just for tht sole purpose. Its more than a career move for me its a personal victory to be apart of someone's well being. I commit myself and my time to making sure the elderly live as comfortable as they would if they were able tobdo things on their own.

I became a Nursing Assistant 14 years ago at Beaumont Hospital. I found that I have a genuine love for people, especially the geriatric population. Since I only work 3 days at Beaumont I started doing Private Duty several years ago. I find Private Duty much more rewarding. You really get to know the client on a whole different level and can provide better care as opposed to a hospital. My greatest personal achievement has been raising two children who have become fine young adults.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people. I am proud of furthering my education in the nursing field. I have been a certified nursing assistant over fifteen years . I have experience working with Geriatric, Mental Illness, Demetria, and close head injury patients. I am a team player and very flexible.

Caregiving provides me with joy and satisfaction in knowing that I can make a positive difference for someone else. I am a mother of three teenage sons and I was an elemenatary and middle school teacher for 20 years. I left my career as a teacher during the pandemic when my family and I decided to make a lifestyle change. We are from the Metro Detroit area, but we decided that our cottage in Northern Michigan is where we are all happiest. In 2021 we officially made East Jordan our home and it was the best choice we could've made.

I am caring , compassionate, I am willing to drive any distance to help someone in need and to be a friend. one thing somebody doesn't know is that I recently did hospice care for my great grandmother in 2012 , and it sparked a light bulb in me that wanted to help all others enjoy and help them with their everyday events . I have experience with all disorders. I enjoy any age of company and have my own place but if need will stay with them. I have cpr and first aid training. I was a cabin leader for children and adults at the lion bear lake camp in Lapeer MI for the disables and impared .Also am willing to do a background check.

I was raised in a family that was proudly involved in the medical feild. Due to that when my grandma and grandpa became very ill my family chose to take care of them in the home instead of choosing an assisted living home. That is when I fell in love with being a caregiver. Three days out of the week until I was 15 (when I didn't have school) I would go with my mother to help my wheel chair bound grandmother get up in the morning and live her daily life. After her passing I found much joy in volunteering at senior centers and then later continuing in home care for patients with dementia and family friends whose grandparents have fallen ill. I love seeing people continue their daily lives as normal as possible and being able to live in a welcoming/ comforting environment despite their physical or mental limitations. Due to the love I have found in helping elderly, or those unable to fully care for themselves, I have chosen to attend Oakland University for biomedical sciences to hopefully attend medical school one day soon. Being a caregiver is something I have been raised around and is a true calling for me which is what makes me so successful at it.

I became a caregiver after my Grandmother passed away from cancer. I love helping people, entertaining people, and most of changing people's lives. Hello families, my name is Sheilah and I am looking for a senior care job beginning mid July /2019. My preference is an overnight position from 7/8pm to 6am. I do have experience caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease, a client with COPD and hospice care. I am hardworking, loving, kind, funny, witty and most importantly patient and empathetic. My care giving journey began when I was 22 taking care of my grandparents. I have always possessed an empathetic and patient spirit. A certified CNA and business owner with over 10+years of experience working in the home health care field. I assist with geriatrics client's so they have still have a normal life outside of acquiring my services. I will maintain a one on one client basis until my services are no longer needed and my hope is that by taking on one client at a time, I can dedicate my services based on the needs of that individual client.
