Hello! My name is David. Ever since I started working at St. Joseph Mercy hospital in 2012, I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of patients that were unable to take care of themselves during a difficult time in their lives. I am a very open, compassionate, and an empathetic person that cares about the well-being of others. It is my mission to ensure that the patients I take care of have my utmost care and attention. One of my most personal achievements during my time in the hospital is making a patient smile and feel comfortable in a matter of minutes. I am a last year Occupational Therapy student and have a passion for working with older adults to maximize their independence, dignity, and support them to age in place. I have years of experience working in assisted living facilities as well as clinical experience from my schooling. Hello, my name is Jeremy. Ever since I was a child I have always had a gift for communicating with older generations. I used to volunteer and chat with teachers from elementary school through university. I excelled in cultural studies and hold a bachelor's degree in anthropology. This has given me insight into the fact that everyone has their own lived experiences and should be treated with respect, kindness, and empathy. I worked as a chauffeur for AllBlackLimo, a company my father and I founded. I had several clients who needed transportation assistance for medical care. During those times I assisted with walking to the car, and transferring people with limited mobility to and from wheel chairs. I assisted with taking them to their appointments, navigating the UofM hospital, Beaumont Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, and other facilities in Southeast Michigan. I offered companionship as well, often talking about life and past experiences in a professional manner. Elder care is essential, we will all need it some day. Hello! I have worked as a caregiver for seniors for several years. I am currently in grad school for Occupational Therapy, and would like to pursue a career in geriatrics. I am very patient and have a calm energy, and love to listen. I value the personal connections I am able to develop with those that I work with, and I enjoy using my abilities to help others.

I am a fun and outgoing person. I love to listen and learn more about the people around me. I enjoy listening to stories. I currently have a bachelors in social work, and will be working on my masters degree in the fall.

Working with elderly makes me happy . Knowing their well being will be my top priority . Assisting them with ADL and personal care is my speciality . Being a caregiver fulfills me emotionally. I also like wheel chair and bed ridden clients is my speciality . Wanting to go into palliative care . I took care of my mom while she was in hospice . I'm dependable ; honest , hard working caregiver and very compassionate . Also trained in dementia and Alzheimer's .
