I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people in general. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I really love helping people who need my help and to take care of they everyday needs. Someone who's aware of important information that a giving directly to me. I also graduated as a medical assistant from Everest Institute college. I also carry my Medical Assistance certificate diploma. I Assisted elderly clients, at their homes, with their daily life activities. Took vital signs and documented the results. Transferred clients from beds to chairs. Prepared and cooked meals. Washed dishes and laundry. Swept, mopped, and vacuumed floors. Provided companionship, medication reminders, and shopping services. Notified nurses of changes in behaviors or conditions. Followed all rules, regulations, and procedures to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality health care services.

I be came a caregiver for several reasons my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer 2009 I saw the care she received and how I would want all loved ones to be treated. I no this lady who came into the assisted facility, she needed to use the restroom and the boss called 5 caregivers to assist her to the restroom, She was terrified. ax 25 kick it was to leave me alone with her for about 20 minutes. when they came in miss Pettigrew was in bed already. I got her to the rest room all cleaned up and in her pajamas. she learn to trust me I was no longer afraid she became my personal client. I am out going, I love to help and go above and beyond. You need to have a heart of compassion for this type of work and I know and believe that this is where I'm supposed to be. I wouldn't do anything elseand hope to own my own PCH one day.
