I enjoy being a caregiver; after having raised 2 sons and working as a paralegal for 30 years, I assisted my husband in owning and operating an Adult Family Home for the past 3 years in Wisconsin. We took on the "worst of the worst" adults with disabilities with several mental illness, including autism, fetal alcohol syndrome, PTSD, etc. I've been chased with knives, had canned corn and microwaves thrown at me. I have a natural gift in calming agitated behaviors and in entertaining adults with disabilities. I have dispensed and administered medications, cooked for 13 people, created and maintained medication logs and patient information booklets, met with social workers and guardians and families.

I have been in the medical field for 5 years. I am in school for nursing. I am seeking to help in anyway I can.

I am a Registered Nurse & have been in health care for 20+ years. I enjoy working with elderly people who are in their own home and helping people stay as independent as possible. I have extensive experience working in Homecare & enjoy working one on one with someone. I received 100% customer satisfaction via confidential survey. I am a 51 year old female, divorced 20 years ago, I have one son,25 years old, love animals, especially dogs. I spend most of my time with my German shepherd Bella, we love to walk. I also enjoy working in yard, I like to work with plants & garden. I also enjoy watching a good movie.

I have a varied work history, but my passion is caring for others. This is where I find my joy. After a 30 year career in accounting, I took semi-retirement and went to work at Marbridge Ranch caring for residents with cognitive challenges such as down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, autism, etc. Caring for 30 male residents was, of course, challenging at times, yet it was the most fulfilling work of my life. I taught a few residents meditation techniques that helped them with anxiety disorders and for that, I'm extremely proud. Being semi-retired, I have flexible hours. Writer, meditation instructor, past life regression therapist are some of my other skills. My personal traits have been described as sweet, kind, thoughtful, empathetic and patient which I feel make me perfect for this sort of work. Thanks for considering me.

My philosophy as a nurse has always been to care for my patients how I would want my dearest loved ones to be cared for.
