I am a mother of a 17 year old boy. I have a strong interest in caring for others as they are my own family. I don't mind helping others because it's always a blessing to help others. I am a very dependable and trustworthy person. I never thought I would want to become a caregiver until I started my first job back in 2018 as a physical therapy assistant. I assisted children and elderly with therapy , errands and housekeeping skills. Over the time I worked for Kinnectz Therapies I became very active and engaged with my patients. I grew to love them and I also grew to love my job , and everything dealing with caring for another person. I am extremely proud that I have overcome the fear of working in this field and stepping out of my comfort zone.

I'm a person of service by heart and enjoy helping and caring for others. My quality traits are patience, caring, understanding, service positive, healthy and dependable. I worked in a Woman Battered Shelter for a few months,i had so much compassion and love for those women and their children. A month after my volunteer work at the shelter, I got a call from a former co-worker about a caregiver job with an elderly lady and from that day forward I knew that this was what I was called to do. I am a 59 year old lady. I am an LVN with over 2yrs experience in a nursing home facility. I love being a nurse because I love to help people who were once upon a time independent; carry out some difficult task they cannot do due to illness or anything that may have stolen their independence from them. To see those priceless smiles on their faces, makes me feel fulfilled that I am helping improve the life of someone else. I am very compassionate. My personality just makes everyone around me happy. Working alone doesn't really bother me. I don't just look for direct solutions to problems, but always have the bigger picture in the back of my mind. I am confident, assertive and competent. I am 23 years old and pre-med student at Jackson State University. I love helping people and when I was a live in nurse for both of my grandmothers going through cancer recovery, I found out how well I could help others. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them be more comfortable. I think that being a caregiver allows me the opportunity to learn for medical school as well as build personal relationships to help people.

Hello my name is Jahqaria Galloway. I'm 19 years old. My mother has owned a home daycare , which is now in a building, since I was a wee child. I've worked with potty training, colors , shapes, using utensils, and even getting to know your birthday and full name. I've worked with more things with children; theses are just a few highlights I like to point out when I do home services. I feel as though it will be my job to treat you child as if she/he is my owns. I believe in "Having a second soul for a different life" meaning that I will have a completely different soul when engaging with different children. I'm my opinion each child is different and has many different ways of learning. I will take the best learning program for your child and apply if accordingly. I really enjoy the difference and the different difficulty in different people. I've enjoyed working with kids since I can remember.

I became a caregiver because I love working with people. At Sixteen I spent my entire summer in the hospital taking care of my father who died from cancer. I also helped out with my grandmother, who has dementia, while I was living in Louisiana. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping those who can no longer help themselves and providing the companionship they need. I graduated from Jackson State University in 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science. I also graduated from Kaplan University in 2009 with Certification in Paralegal. I am a kind and giving person. I am very patient. I've been caring for others for years, but a professional caregiver for a year.

Being a caregiver isn't about giving care, its about caring to give. Caring to give help to someone that needs more help than the average person. Caring to give help to someone who can't do what they'd like on their own. Caring to give help to someone who has feelings, needs, and deserves to be as comfortable as possible in their time of need. TO BE a caregiver one should CARE TO GIVE A HUGE part of their life to make someone else's life all the much better and that is where my passion comes in. Seeing someone else smile or show flamboyant happiness because of something I DID for them is why I chose to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. I feel as though this occupation is one of the VERY FEW selfless occupations in the world.

I became a caregiver over ten years ago when my grandmother became sick and my family was trying to figure out who would care for her. I went and took a CNA class and became certified and I took care of my grandmother until she died. I love working with the elderly, it's my passion and i wouldn't want to do any other kind of work.
