Caregiver to me is more then just looking after your client, I wanted to make sure I have some type of bond with my client to make sure they are comfortable as possible with me in there home. I wanted know what's there favorite food ? What they like look at on Television? Maybe play a game ? It's every important to make sure me I put myself in there shoes . It will show me how they feel every client still wanted there independence as person but I'm also going to make sure I'm not far behind to have there back ! Also if I see if my client not having a good day or the days isn't going as scheduled I will find a every positive way to make the day better she /he. I became a caregiver because it is one of the most rewarding jobs ever. The elderly have so much to offer, that's why I believe companionship plays a major role in the care of a loved one. I am proud to say, I have stayed with all my patients till there passing or family felt a nursing home would be a better fit for all.. I have wonderful recommendations from each one of my family's, and that makes me proud. The ultimate goal in home care is that the family and patient feel safe and comfortable and have somebody that they can trust to take care of the one in need. And making what may be their last days as pleasent as possible.. I truly believe that this has been God's calling in my life.

I always knew I wanted to be a nurse or a doctor, but when I was taking care of her that's when I knew that was something I love to do. I also took care of a elderly man named Michael who had cancer and only had one arm and I also helped his wife as well. I loved it and they love having me. I'm very trustworthy and honest.
