My personal traits that help me be a great care giver is Empathy. I have the ability to feel what others are thinking and feeling at some point. Being a caregiver always been my career since a young child. I also wanted to be a RN registered nurse, wanting to follow after my aunt, my mother sister. I enjoy comforting the consumers/clients, making them happy and being there for them. My personal achievements were when I graduated from High School and getting my Certification for nursing..

My name is Chanel.. I love helping others especially the elderly. What attracted me to be Caregiver is that I use to take care or my Great grandma she was very special to me. I lost my grandparents and parents and helping others has just been a fulfilling. I've been a caregiver over 20 years. The most fulfilling part is seeing my clients face when they see me and also telling me don't leave and that I was missed. Allows me to know that I'm doing the right thing. I also specialize in Alzheimer's. I really try to relate to one's past because with Alzheimer's the client is very familiar with the past and you just want them to feel some normalcy even if it's for a moment. Moments are what we live for.
