I am a mom of twin boys, I have been in the medical field for over 20yrs, started off and a CNA in a nursing home and went in to get my Medical Assistant certification. I worked in the ED and after having children I worked in the lab processing specimens and drawing labs but eventually missed patient care patient contact. So after the kids were older, I started a job in Urgent Care and I love it. I enjoy talking and listening to patients. I became a caregiver because of my mother. My mom have alot of health problems and I was always the one to help her and learn how to take care of her. I believe what makes me a great caregiver, is the fact that I'am very patient, I have great communication skills I know just what to say and when to say it and I know what not to say.
