My name is javonne Thomas. I'm a very open minded observant and loyal person. The things I love about caregiving is talking to the patients and learning new things from different people. One personal achievement I'm proud of is become a personal care assistant

Being a caregiver has come naturally to me. I would say it was a gift that was given to me. I love helping others who can not help themselves. I have the patience to provide the care needed. I learn my individuals very quickly and met them where they are with all their needs. I love being able to share the gift of compassion to the individuals I care for. I have been in the profession of care giving for all ages, for 14 years now. I am most proud of the lives I touched individually as well as the families I have impacted in a positive way.

I became a caregiver after witnessing my grandmother care for my grandfather with Lou Gehrig's disease. She could have used the extra support and helping hands and at a young age I could only do so much. I have wanted to be a caregiver ever since. I love being a caregiver and developing a relationship with my clients. They aren't just a job, they become family and friends and it's beyond rewarding to see their face light up when you walk in to greet them. After working with the developmentally disabled community for five years I obtained my CNA license and plan on furthering my education in Nursing. Five years later I have since obtained experience in nursing homes and for the past 3 years have been providing in home private care. I am the mother of ten year old twins and they are my world. They know mommy goes to work to help her friends.

I always try to have a funny on hands type person. I'm most proud of my family's care and children's upbringing. I always brought happiness to all patients I had in the past . I actually love being a caregiver, it brings me joy and happiness.

I am friendly, assertive, outgoing, a great listener, I care. I love having the ability to help other people. I just love being able to share my time with someone who is willing to share their time with me.

Before I actually started working as a caregiver I took care of my grandma who was very sick I think I love being a caregiver because I love to watch people get better and I love helping as much as I can.
