Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs. My personality traits includes Patience, kindness, compassion, love and care for humanity especially the elderly. My love for family, made me decide to care for others as well especially. I just liked taking care and assisting people especially the elderly. I enjoyed seeing the smile of the people I give to care and love to hear their lifetime experiences they want to share with me.

I'm going to answer these questions from bottom up this time. (I just wrote so much and it got deleted). So! \"What achievement am I proud of?\" I'm proud that God sent me my wife after I gave up on everything. I was proud that I got promoted to Sgt at 23 year's old after only being in service for 3 1/2 years. I did awful in school and had nothing going for me. But now I have more than I ever imagined. I'm proud that through my struggles God was there to keep me moving forward. I want to do the same. I want to help bring as much comfort, love, and joy to the world as possible. A few bucks here an there sounds good. But the relationships we can build and the life we can share with others is what truly makes my day feel productive/complete. I like to think I'm pretty hilarious too lol.

What makes me a great caregiver is, I have compassion for people in general. I am passionate about helping to make the lives of others better. I am patient and considerate. I have a motto that I have established and lived by: "treat others in the way I want to be treated." I am also reliable and trustworthy. What attached me to being a caregiver is when I had my four children; two girls and two boys who are now young adults and lives on their own. What I really enjoy most about being a caregiver is putting a smile on the face of those I care for, also establishing a rapport with them. A personal achievement I am proud of is attaining a degree in human services and being consistent with my education to attain my degree as a nurse.

I love being a caregiver,because this is so rewarding and gives back more,than I ever could give. I worked in a Lab for so many years but this was also what I wanted to do. There has to be a calling from God.

I believe all people need the help of others at times. I have great empathy and compassion for those in need and I treat people the way I would want to be treated if I was in the same situation. Caring for others well is one of my passions. I enjoy reading, walks in the park, going on drives, gardening, watching movies, card and board games, listening to their stories and arts and crafts projects. I have spent the last 5 years caring for the elderly including family members and i am passionate about providing the best care possible.

I have been a personal care provider for over 20 years. I started working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. I prefer being a personal care provider because I enjoy the direct attention I can provide for my client. I became a care giver because I enjoy taking care of people, and learning from them. In my experiences from working as a caregiver I found that everyone is different, and they have a lot to offer whether they are 100 years old or 2 years old. I also believe that everyone one should be treated with dignity, respect, and compasion. I treat everyone as though they are my family member. My first experiece ad a caregiver was when I was 15 and my mother took me along with her to care for a neighbor one lady was blind, and her sister was Paralyzed from the neck down , My mother showed me how to care for others as though I was related to them. I do everything from bathing, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry, exercise if needed, as well as going on outings. I also walk and feed pets. I also have references from various peopleI have cared for. I can also assist with medication from setting up medications for the week and also giving them at their specified times. I've been a care-giver/STNA since 2007. I have excellent people skills, I'm passionate about the care and well being of clients. Many life long relationships are formed and I began to know their personal likes and dislikes of things which helps me provide them better care.

I am currently a medic in the US Army Reserve and I have been caring for the elderly and special needs community since I was 21 years old. I am a state certified in BLS and and I am also a proxy caregiver in the state of ga.
