I am a Registered Medical Asst with 24 years experience, now retired. I am looking for a part time job to help supplement my Social Security, as well as allow me to continue receiving the benefits of caring for others. I also had 14 years where my own mother lived with us. She suffered from severe Alzheimer's, so I worked very closely with her Hospice team the last years of her life. I still have a lot of energy, am very organized, compassionate. I have my BLS certificate, and have completed the Level II Background Check. I live in Margate, FL with my husband who also has care-giving needs.

I am a retired RN, I retired 5 years ago to take care of my Mother the last two years of her life, so I am very aware of the importance of reliable care of your loved one. I do currently have my Ohio license but am not really looking for "nursing" jobs. I have very reliable transportation, CPR certified. What attracted me to become a caregiver was my Mother in law. I had a thriving Janitorial cleaning service that did very well. When she was giving the diagnoses my husband and I moved her in with us. In 4 years the mental disease Dementia took over quickly. I knew cleaning buildings and homes is not what I was put here to do. I took care of her until she passed and I became a caregiver shortly after.

I just earned a Graduate Certificate in Patient Advocacy because I empathize with the desire of every person to be heard and understood.
