I am a reliable, dedicated, self-driven individual. I have 2 beautiful, snuggly granddaughters who rock my world! I enjoy, crafts, camping, reading, and helping others.

Hello, I am Shannon Hawkins. I am 34yrs old and a single mother of two children; ages 11 and 7. I currently care for my mother who is on oxygen. By cooking, cleaning, and running errands. I work out and lift weights. Walking, running, stretching and home workouts as well. I am my families chef. I meal plan for myself and family members. Learned down south cooking from my grandmother and can make peach cobbler and sweet potato pie plus more. I love conversation and hearing about people's life stories. Learned how to play hun rummy from my mother at a young age. Very helpful around the house and love to put furniture together. Very kind and patient. I started my career in health care in 1974 as a Medical Assistant. I have been employed in a variety of offices, Urology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Podiatry and Dentistry. In 1986 I started my teaching career at Autry Technology Center in Enid, Oklahoma and taught Medical and Dental Assisting until my retirement in May 2007. I have always enjoyed participating in helping people with their health challenges.

Hello my name is Syiece. I am kind, compassionate, patient, responsible, and a good listener. I've always been attracted to the medical field and caring for people. In high school I was allowed the opportunity to train and obtain my Certified Nursing Assistant licensing, which I did. Although, I did not persue a career as a CNA shortly after my training, my elderly grandmother moved in with us and I was able to assist in her care for 13 years. The stories from those much wiser than I are the most enjoyable parts of caregiving. I am most proud if being a person who people can trust and rely on in times of need, no matter how simple the task.

I am educated and have conducted intern hours in caring for our elderly. I am a caregiver for my father who is 90 yrs old. I love caring for the elderly; it's my life calling. I was proud to care for an individual whom was in her last days...it was an honor to care for her every needs. I will work hard, everyday, to ensure all seniors maintain the upmost quality of life!

I have been a certified nurse aide (CNA) for about two years. I have worked in home health and I currently work in an assisted living facility in Edmond, OK. I love to work with seniors because there is so much to learn and appreciate from their point of view.

I love people and helping them get to where or what they need. I obtained degrees in Education and Counseling, to do just that. I did get my CNA when I was in high school, many moons ago; so I do have experience in the caregiving field. I am compassionate, friendly, a great listener, life coach, and friend. I've worked as a Preschool/MDO Teacher for 12 years. My most recent experience at Teal Creek Assisted Living has broadened my background working directly with and for seniors in the Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory environments. I have helped transport seniors to dr. appointments and had many, many hours assisted seniors with most aspects of their daily lives which includes but not limited to helping them with personal shopping, technical support with appliances, internet, plumbing and electrical issues on a daily basis. I have also led senior group activities such as Art classes. I love working with Seniors!!!

I love providing care for the elderly. It just gives me great satisfaction knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life. I think some of my best qualities as a caregiver is that I am really patient and compassionate with older clients and their families.

My name is DeMari Sneed, I'm from Spencer Oklahoma. I'm 19 years old , im Currently in college at UCO for Nursing. I want to pursue a career as a Nurse practitioner. I've done 2 years at Francis Tuttle for Pre nursing, so I can do a lot of basic skills and I also know how to do some complex, such as finger sticks/ drawing blood. Certified in CPR First Aide and AED /oxygen. I am very outgoing I love doing what I do which is helping people in all aspects and making their day better also.

I run in a long line of health care in my family; ranging from physical therapy to nursing to anesthesia. I worked at a retirement home at 16 (my very first job!) as a server and I fell in love with so many of the people there. I loved listening to their story and background. My best traits as a caregiver is my compassion and patience. I was accepted in to the UCO nursing program in the spring of 2018 and now I am heading into my senior year. I am so excited to be able to gain new knowledge everyday on ways to treat mental and physical illnesses.

Hello! I am a Registered Nurse with a multi-state license. I am currently employed full time for a local hospice company. I am looking for a part time or occasional position. I have been an RN for close to three years now, and love working with people of all types. I am compassionate, caring, passionate, and understanding. I enjoy getting to know my patients and provide excellent care for them. Although I am an RN, I can also perform basic tasks like grocery shopping, outings, toileting, exercise, cooking, or simply spending time with your loved one. I also have extensive medical training and am able to handle more "difficult" cases. I have worked in hospice for the past year and am knowledgeable about the challenges that hospice patients and their families face. I am looking for part time or occasional position.
