I have been a caregiver for 35 years. I have an adult son with disabilities. I have two sets of aging parents who need help. I also have a sister who I provide care for. I am a reliable, dedicated, self-driven individual. I have 2 beautiful, snuggly granddaughters who rock my world! I enjoy, crafts, camping, reading, and helping others.

I'm patient and understanding. I recognize the importance of the connections I develop with my clients. Caregiving comes naturally for me. I've always felt the need to help anyone in any situation. After moving here, I was blessed with a job in house management. I did laundry, cleaned the house, did any errands needed, and helped with the family schedule. The family moved out of state, but definitely helped me realize my love for the job. Before moving to Texas, I was a director of a daycare for several years, specializing in special education. Hello my name is Syiece. I am kind, compassionate, patient, responsible, and a good listener. I've always been attracted to the medical field and caring for people. In high school I was allowed the opportunity to train and obtain my Certified Nursing Assistant licensing, which I did. Although, I did not persue a career as a CNA shortly after my training, my elderly grandmother moved in with us and I was able to assist in her care for 13 years. The stories from those much wiser than I are the most enjoyable parts of caregiving. I am most proud if being a person who people can trust and rely on in times of need, no matter how simple the task.

I am educated and have conducted intern hours in caring for our elderly. I am a caregiver for my father who is 90 yrs old. I love caring for the elderly; it's my life calling. I have been a certified nurse aide (CNA) for about two years. I have worked in home health and I currently work in an assisted living facility in Edmond, OK. I love to work with seniors because there is so much to learn and appreciate from their point of view.

I've worked as a Preschool/MDO Teacher for 12 years. My most recent experience at Teal Creek Assisted Living has broadened my background working directly with and for seniors in the Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory environments. I have helped transport seniors to dr. appointments and had many, many hours assisted seniors with most aspects of their daily lives which includes but not limited to helping them with personal shopping, technical support with appliances, internet, plumbing and electrical issues on a daily basis. I have also led senior group activities such as Art classes. I love working with Seniors!!!

I run in a long line of health care in my family; ranging from physical therapy to nursing to anesthesia. I worked at a retirement home at 16 (my very first job!) as a server and I fell in love with so many of the people there. I loved listening to their story and background. My best traits as a caregiver is my compassion and patience. I was accepted in to the UCO nursing program in the spring of 2018 and now I am heading into my senior year. Hello! I am a Registered Nurse with a multi-state license. I am currently employed full time for a local hospice company. I am looking for a part time or occasional position. I have been an RN for close to three years now, and love working with people of all types. I am compassionate, caring, passionate, and understanding. I enjoy getting to know my patients and provide excellent care for them. Although I am an RN, I can also perform basic tasks like grocery shopping, outings, toileting, exercise, cooking, or simply spending time with your loved one.
