I have a deep sense of compassion for my clients and always seek ways to build positive rapport using humor to aid in this process. My mother is an RN so talking care of others runs in my family. I enjoy seeing my clients make progress towards independence so that they can feel more confident and and assured about life. I received a Caregiver of the Month Award for achievement in handling challenging situations.

As a dedicated and highly experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with over 15 years of experience, I'm deeply committed to providing the highest quality of care to my patients. My passion for caring for others began at a young age and has only grown with time and experience. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with physical disabilities, cognitive impairments, and chronic illnesses. I have honed my skills in providing assistance with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, managing medication, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. What I love most about my work is building relationships with my patients and their families, getting to know their unique stories, and providing them with emotional support during challenging times. I take pride in creating a safe and comfortable environment for my patients, where they feel heard, respected, and valued. In addition to my extensive experience as a CNA, I have also completed continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in healthcare. I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development, and I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills in order to provide the best care possible to my patients. Overall, I am a hardworking and compassionate CNA with a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to providing exceptional care to my patients. I chose to explore the field of caregiving after being a witness to the wonderful, private care my grandmother received toward the end of her life; I wanted to be able to give families and clients the peace of mind and compassion they deserve. I was mentored by one of her caregivers and went on to work with her for several years as she referred me to clients both long-term and short-term. In May of 2023 I also became trained as as an end-of-life doula through INELDA. I'm patient and creative and enjoy getting to know my clients and tailoring their care based on their specific needs. It is important to me that everyone involved feels like there is a good connection between all of us so we can have a great working relationship!

If there is one thing for certain that I always want to do, it helps people. The idea of caring for someone simply for wanting the best for them is something I strive for. When my grandmother passed away suddenly, there was no one to care for my great-grandfather. With all of his preexisting health conditions as well as just being of old age, he wasn't capable of doing things on his own. I took it upon myself to become his caregiver. Being able to that for the time I had left with him, made me realize that I do like giving people a sense of security and comfort. The idea that they know there is someone there for them who not only can help them with what they need but be a friend to them as well.

Hello! My name is Mailin Aparicio I have been told that I am a very bubbly individual. I am very passionate about being a caregiver because, I enjoy helping others, by encouraging and motivating them to try new things. I also help clients with meeting their personal goals as they work towards becoming independent. I am proud of the work that I do, because I love seeing when my client's achieve their personal goals.

The personality traits that I bring to my career as a caregiver include professionalism in the field, compassion, empathy, patience and understanding of elders' needs. As a Christian, I value people at all stages of their lives and the needs they have. I am attracted to the profession of caregiver from my family of origin that respects and honors elders. I believe that in their later years that they should be comforted and cared for in their physical and emotional needs. I enjoy caring for people in all stages of there lives, and my true passion is in the elder care field. My personal achievements include my wonderful, successful children and my community service.

I love helping the elderly and just loving on them. I am very compassionate and love learning about my patients life. I've always been a very caring person and love serving others and I think that's why I love caregiving so much. I enjoy getting to know my patients and spending time with them. 1 personal achievement that I am very proud of is being a first generation college student working towards my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. While I have never worked as a professional care giver I have frequently sailed those waters. In personal life with family members, and in pastoral ministry I have often ministered to those in crisis, or in limiting or rehabilitative conditions - in homes, hospitals and special care settings. I bring peace and security into situations and am able to be a companion to people of many personalities, with diverse challenges in varieties of settings. I am willing and able to provide physical help, transportation, shopping and basic hygiene assistance, house keeping and some food preparation. I love reading, writing and listening to the stories of others. I might be willing to help your loved one write their life story. I am an excellent conversationalist and an expert in encouraging others. I have many life experiences, having lived in 7 states and 2 countries. I have pastored in 6 churches and run one non-profit. I am a writer and conference speaker. I have also worked in security, sales and construction. My wife and I have owned 3 mini-farms and 2 apartment buildings. We have 3 grandsons and a granddaughter on the way! As a male I would prefer working with a male client. Of course an interview would be necessary to see if we could find a good fit. Hello! I have been a CNA for two years and have worked in both facility and in-home care settings. I have lots of experience caring for individuals with a wide variety of needs, including individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer's. I am fluent in English and proficient in Spanish. I am both professional and compassionate, and want to provide quality care for your loved one(s). I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and dignity! These are my core values that heavily influence my care as a CNA. I have worked in two skilled nursing facilities and have experience with in-home care, and found value in both. However, I think that I prefer to work with individuals or couples in their own homes because I thoroughly enjoy providing help that allows people to continue to live in their own space. Research has shown that elderly adults, and really anyone, tend to recover better and with fewer complications within their own home as compared to a hospital or clinical setting. Being a part of the home care process is fulfilling to me because I have seen how meaningful it truly is for someone to be able to receive care in the safety and comfort of their home. I want to continue to help make that possible for others! Everyone's needs are different, and their care should be adapted to what works best for them. In my two years of caregiving experience, I can confidently say that person-centered care that is tailored to each person's needs and personality is what I strive to provide. I'm a dedicated and compassionate provider of elder care, companionship and comfort for senior citizen residents of assisted living and in geriatric care within home environments with 5+ years of experience. I assist in transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, administering medication according to prescription schedule, and companionship. I'm First Aid/CPR certified. I was a former employee at Providence St. Vincent I worked in impatient as a Physical Therapy Aide. I'm planned on going back to school to finish my nursing degree in the future.
