Each person I've served has had a story of life, which they enjoyed sharing, and I enjoy listening and learning. It is truly a passion for me to make a difference.

Hello, I've worked in health care since 2014. I've worked in Adult Foster Care, Assisted Living, and Retirement Homes. I've mainly worked as a caregiver, I have my CNA1, and I have also been a med tech. Ive always enjoyed helping people, so health care has been a good fit for me.

My personality is very easy to get along with, I have all types of friends and family and I get along with all of them for the most part. Anyone who says they live everyone is a Pinocchio lol. I've had three customer service jobs and am currently a part-time caregiver and full-time, swing shift med tech at a memory care facility. I take care of residents with different types of dementia, mental illnesses and behaviors. I have been care-giving for just about 10 years. I love the work and everything that comes with it. I love being able to help a person who may not be able to completely help themselves. My very first experience with care was at the age of nine. My great grandmother lived in our home so I Helped my mom and Aunts care for my grandmother as much as I was able. That experience helped to create a passion in me for helping others, Specially Elderly persons and those with diminished abilities due to diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia. I've learned a lot from past clients so as much as I know I can help someone else, I know that these experiences are essentially helping me as well.

Part of what I feel makes me a good care give isnt just my care for the people that I take care of but for people in general, this is what drives me to be in the medical field. What attracted me to be a care giver is the ability to help these people receive the care and support they need. The reason I love caregiving is because it's fulfilling and I can help those who can't help themselves. One personal achievement I'm proud of is becoming a medtech within 6 months of becoming a caregiver.
