I'm a compassionate, dependable, fun loving caregiver with over 20 years experience. At the young age of 20, I got my start in home care. I then received my CNA from St. Mary's Manor in Pa but obtained exceptional training and experience from The Hospital of the University of Pa, where I worked for over 13 years. Since leaving HUP, I decided to go back to where it all began, home care. I also love children and decided to be a nanny for a few years. My husband passed away recently and I wanted to get back to work as soon as possible in a home-health setting.

Since a very young age I have always been interested in spending time with older people. I love to help and make people smile. I completed my certified nursing studies in 2007 and it was at that point I realized that caring for people, especially the elderly, was my calling. To me, I think it's being able to put yourself in the older person's shoes and understand that they were also my age once and had the whole world at their feet. I think you need the gift of the gab to resonate with people and make them feel comfortable with you and get to know you better. Home care is a personal experience and it can be incredibly fruitful if the relationship is more caring and personal.

I'm a great caregiver because I love helping people I'm a very caring young women. I've been in the nursing field for about 10 years even though I'm only 20 years old. I always volunteered at my mothers job. For some reason I have this great connection with people, people love me no matter if it's my big eager smile or my confident pep talks.

I am a mother of 3 two boys and one girl i am in harcum college for my human services degree i will graduate in May 2019. I have been a care giver for over 9 years. I enjoy helping others and taking care of them as if they were my own family member. I have taken care of ny father who was a diabetic and heart disease he is now in a better place. I also took care of my grandmother who has diabetes,COPD, Dementia,depression and so on. I take my role serious to meet the needs of anyone i am taking care of . As I grew up I took care of my elderly grandmother which lead me to helping with medications and bathing her and transporting her back and forth for appointments until she passed . I do not have a drivers license but I can drive if needed . I am not a smoker. What I enjoy most is I love helping others and making other people happy

I became a caregiver because i was looking for a career opportunity where i can use my skills and learn news skills.

I am a hardworking, honest, kind person and very helpful. i wanted to become a caregiver after my grandmother was ill and i helped around the house chores , cooking, filing paper work just being a big help until she got better. My name is Alexis I attend school at Harcum College and I'm 23 years old. I've been an employee at Bayada Home Health Care for over 3 years. I'm a trained Home Health Aide who shows a high level of compassion to my patients and their families. Im able to perform all job tasks, also able to handle the physical tasks that come with the job. I have a wide range of experience in caring for the elderly including medical distribution,hoyer lift, feeding, bed baths, along with blood pressure management.

I'm a mother of three children and have been home full time since 2010. I worked as a Dental Hygienist in Chesnut Hill for 15 years working with all types of patients because we were a family dentistry office. I'm a great caregiver and have even looked into going back to school for nursing recently. I have my degree in science and graduated from Harcum college. Nothing bothers me at all when caring for someone. I was well loved by all of my patients who still ask about me even now.
