My name is Nafisha Hall , I have interest in applying for this position to develop new life skills as working as a caregiver for 3 to 4 years and providing services to the community. I have experience working a number of disabilities that people face on a day to day basis such as alzheimer's , dementia , hospice , schizophrenic and autistic . I see this as new challenge for me to gain knowledge to succeed in more the opportunities that will be presented to me as I expand my career path. I believe i would be a perfect fit because of my unique skills and experiences that relate to the job duties that I will perform once employed with the company.

I've always been the caregiver in my family, I've been a stay at home mom for 19 years, I took care of my daughter full time, she got diagnosed with cancer at 3yrs old, I took care of her for 6 years, she died in 2014, I gave birth to twins 5 weeks later. I was born to multitask, my twins are 10 and I have a 13 yr old daughter. I'm willing to learn and take instruction

I love being a care giver because I love taking care of the old & the sick. I like that caregivers put smile on the residents face when they think when no one cares. I`m proud of my achieve i made when i knew i can make a difference in others lives by showing care. Im a CNA. I've been a CNA for two years and i love it. I love taking care of my residents . I love making sure my residents have everything they need.. I love to show personal care such as helping with simply things they may need help with. Im a hard worker ,respectful,motivated, determined CNA, fast learner. I'm in school to continue my career in healthcare. Registered nurse. I love working in Nursing homes.

I became a caregiver after taking care of my great-grand mother many years ago, after her passing I found out that I really enjoyed this profession and decided to make a career out of it receiving my certification in 1994. What I like most about being a caregiver is the joy of giving back and knowing that someone can rest and enjoying getting older knowing that all their needs will be taking care of. I have many personal goals one being my family but my most recent achievement/goal is getting my A.A degree in Culture Science and Technology this pass May, which brings me a little closer to getting a B.S in Psychology. I'v been apart of the elderly community for 20 years, working in the ares of long term, acute and home care services. I'm a wife and mother of three sons ( a college grad and two teenagers) I enjoy reading and teaching my Sunday school class. Although I'm a professional caregiver (CNA) my long term goal is to study and become a clinical Psychologist.

Because I care about people. I love helping people and knowing I can make a difference in someone's life. As a caregiving u know that your patients depend on you and that makes me feel good. I would want to have a special person like that to care for me. I am driven and I always want the people I care for to be happy and for them to feel like I did my best and that they got wonderful service from me. I am compassionate and I always treat others with respect. I have been in this field for years and cant see me doing anything else.

My name is Binta Keita. I always enjoyed helping people and making a positive impact in people's lives. I am currently a nursing major and want a career based on doing what I love. Becoming a caregiver introduced to hands-on care and I've loved doing it ever since. Knowing that I am needed, knowing that I am a positive influence in someone's life motivates me into wanting to even be a nurse. I am a very kind and reliable person. Although my jokes are corny, I never fail to make people smile or laugh. I am motivted and determined and know what I want.

I have been working in health care since 2005. I am a reliable and experienced staff member. I also can relate to what families go through on a personal level because I care for a special needs family member.

I have worked as a CNA since 2008. Also, I have experience in the behavioral health field. I have many certificates through CNA jobs as well as behavioral health.

Hello to all, my name is Korto but my patients usually refer to me as Kay. I'm outgoing person who love the geriatric population. I enjoy assisting them and love the lessons they teach at all times. I like caring for the elderly so caregiver just seemed to fit my personality. The person achievement that I'm proud of is getting the HHA of the year award.

I am caring, with great organizational skills along with good time management. I am passionate, honest and kind going beyond the call of the of duties I perform. I was attracted to caring for people when my grandmother became ill. I am most proud of all the hearts I have opened up in the care that I have given.

I believe most of my personality traits help me be a great caregiver . For instance my ability to listen , I feel this is the most important that helped me be a great care giver because every client is different. They all have different needs and wants and listening to a client helps me better serve, help them in the way they want or need . Another, personality trait that help me be a great care giver is that I'm caring . I feel like this this also very important when it comes to a care giver because I'm very passionate and understanding because of this trait. What attracted me to be a caregiver is my personality. Im a very helpful person , down to the littlest things . What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help someone in need . A personal achievement I'm proud of is when times got hard and I didn't have financial support from my family , and I worked a full time job while still going to college for criminal justice and I'm between this time , this taught me to prioritize my time , stay focus on my goal and the bigger picture .

At first I thought being a caregiver was the worst, but now I view it as a great opportunity to get to know the old and young .I have been working as a caregiver for 10 years. I feel as though I am a good caregiver because I take my time, I know my responsibilities and I have respect for my clients. I love my job and I love what I do.

Wanting to be a RN, I became deterred through marriage and child rearing, I took a CNA course and became cerified, I enjoyed helping those in need and took pride in my work. I am no longer cerified because I worked with at risk youth for six years and than on to MR/MH which is my current job.

I love taking good care of the wise. I get so much wisdom from working with the elderly. Working with the wise makes me fill complete, like this is what I was born to do. I'm always honored that people be willing to share their parents/grandparents with me to take care of. My grandparents died on my mother and father side and to be able to grow a relationship with someone's else parents/grandparents means everything to me. To work in this field you have to love it because you will not last.

I became a care giver because I care about what happens and what's going on in a persons life as they get older and have special needs. I like to think that when I get older my family will care about what happens to me, so I treat everyone as I would like to be treated and loved. My personal best is that I have achieved the goal that I have set for myself and I would like to go higher. A person can always do better in life if they put their mind to it. When I was younger I have always taken care of people and pets. As I got older I continued to do so. Until this day I still put others before myself and always willing to give something back to the community and my family.

I became or becoming a caregiver because it's my desire for caring and helping others. To know I can help them in their daily living makes me feel good about myself. To know I can help a person feel as though they are able to live normally someway and somehow. To show them that I care and I am here to help them. The one thing I would say I love about caregivers is being able to help. My personal achievement that I am proud of myself is to finally becoming something I've always want and it doesn't just end here. I'm a mother of two. I grew up learning how to survive on my own and take care of my responsibility. I went through many obstacles but always have picked myself back up.

Being a Caregiver at such a young age , has really been the best experience of my life . As a Caregiver I have been introduced to so many skills , and traits that I could use later on in Life . Some personality traits that have made me a great Caregiver is the simple fact that I can empathize with my clients , I have learned to put my self in my clients shoes and have patience with them. I have learned to make connections with my clients , so they can trust me and not feel any distrust or discomfort while I'm with them. Being a Caregiver has really been my passion since I was in 5th grade , I've always wanted to take Care of people but being young I really didn't know what I was talking about , it became clear to me , when my grandfather died in 2016 because of lack of caregiving when he was bed written , that I most definitely wanted to be a Caregiver for Senior Citizens and Ever the Disabled. I honestly Love my job and forever will enjoy taking care of those in need . I absolutely can't wait to meet my future clients .

I would not say I chose this field. I believe this field chose me. I lived with my grandmother and have always helped her with everything, up until her dying day. I am very outgoing and positive and I've been told my personality lifts spirits. I am dependable, caring and honest. I found so much joy in working in this field I obtain my associates in Behavioral Health and Human services at Community College of Philadelphia. When you're working and it doesn't feel like work then you found your passion and I found mine.
