Hello, My name is Jonas Saunders. I'm very a very patient and kind worker who tries my best to avoid confrontation while providing a caring environment for residents and employees. I was attracted to the idea of being a caregiver because of the interactions it allows me to have with individuals from all walks of life. This is also my favorite reason for being a caregiver. Raised by my grandmother, I developed the passion of caring for the elderly at a very young age. I worked closely with my grandmother and grandaunts with their daily activities. While in high school, I applied for summer jobs as a caregiver with companies such as home instead senior center and act agency. I enjoyed being around the elderly and providing assistance with daily living. I enjoy the knowledge I gained from interacting. With them on all levels and the stories I was told about life in general. I have been blessed to be in this field for over 10 years and have applied so much of what was passed on by my clients to various areas of life. I am currently a bachelors and masters degree holder in health education and I still find myself attracted to the field of home health and working with the elderly. From 2012 to 2015 , I was blessed to work in a live-in case with a lovely lady who recently passed away in March of 2015. Working with my client for three years, I lived with her and viewed her as more than just a client. She took the role of my late grandmother and I cared for her deeply. I am very passionate about caring for the seniors and I do it with so much pride. I hope to one day open my own home Health agency.

I started in the caregiving profession to be able to give back to the community. I love helping others, along with getting to know them and their families. It is a very rewarding experience with each new client. I currently have two years of RN school completed and I'm eager to finish my degree in the upcoming years. Here are some of my best traits that makes me a great caregiver. I am dependable, compassionate, trustworthy patient, and attentive. It is imperative for a caregiver to be dependable, to show up at work on time to provide the care the person needs and counting on. While my time working for kencrest service, I am in a position where I have access to: belongings, money, personally and confidential information for the person being cared for. It is crucial that the caregiver be someone who is trustworthy. While my time at kencrest and throughout my years of living I have never or will never breach that trust by taking advantage of the person being cared for or anyone. It is important that caregivers are attentive. Being attentive I notice when the person I am caring for has unusual behaviors, change in moods, daily routine, emotions, and physical changes. I am patient, I understand that when being a caregiver things often changes, things may not go as planned. I am compassionate, I understand others point of views and what people go through. What I love most about being a caregiver is teaching. I have mostly worked with people who have intellectual disabilities. I believe they are capable of learning that caregivers have to be willing to communicate with them constantly. To be willing to teach. During my time at kencrest I have taught them to be comfortable with communicating more. I can say I am most proud that one of my consumer uses her words more. Since I have been constantly encouraging one of my consumers to speak, that she speaks more without me having to ask her to. I am also proud that I taught one of my consumer how to say "girlfriend." I believe when you are constantly interacting with consumers they tend to pick you on the words that's being constantly said. Being a great caregiver has plenty of traits

Hello, I am a registered nurse of 35 years, I have been an honest and caring nurse for many years. I am seeking to help families with their loved ones, because I know how challenging it can be to care for them, without nursing care. I can offer overnight care, so that families can rest, or sitting so that you can go on errands. I am often told by patients that they appreciate by gentle care.

I am young carrying person,who loves to make other people feel good about themselves and make them feel like they belong . I try to get to know and build a bond with people rather than just work and not know anything about that person.

I am an outgoing and upbeat women in my early 20's who truly loves working with the elderly population. I am patient and flexible, and I have extensive experience working with seniors struggling with dementia and alzheimers. I enjoy spending time with seniors and learning about their life experiences and sharing mine with them. I became a caregiver for the elderly when I was 19 years old. Now, at 23 as I aim to complete my Master's degree in Social Work, I continue to look forward to caring for our older population every week. I am a young registered nurse looking to give more of myself and my experience in healthcare.
