My name is Estolia Garica (Toya). Love nursing I have always wanted to be a nurse. When I was about 12 years old, my father was in the hospital and I saw what the nurses where doing and how well they cared for my father and other patients, and that is when I decided I wanted to be a nurse. I was able to achieve my dream job of being a nurse. I have been a nurse for nearly 40 years. I love being a nurse and caring for patients. I can speak both English and Spanish, that can be valuable for patients who speak both languages.

Hello! The main reason I chose to become a caregiver is to help others . My favorite part about being a caregiver is being able to get to know who I take care of and to listen to their stories . To be there and do my best to be able to care for them.

I have always had a sense of helping people. Either it could be monumental or just a small gesture. For me, it went a long way and it gave me a purpose. working with my clients gives me an opportunity to impact someone's life every day. I enjoy working one on one with people to really get to know them and build a friendly relationship.

I chose to be a caregiver when my grandmother moved to Huntsville so she would not have to go to a nursing home. I can say this last year with her has been rewarding because it has taught me patience and I have more of an understanding for elderly people.

I'm 19 and I have a newborn. I have caregiving experience from taking care of my grandma for the past 5 years until she passed in November. Helping her made me realize how much I wanted to help others.

I have always had a passion for caring for the elderly since I was 10. I started out doing volunteer work at a nursing home that my mother had worked at. I would push the residents to and from the dining room for meals. Or I would play bingo and other card games as well . I have always had fun with my residents or the couples I would see doing home health . It's a sense of knowing that your caring for another family's mom or dad. The passion I have for the medical field is amazing. When my grandma had surgery or when she was sick I use to take care of her especially when she was in pain and a couple of times she would ask me personally if I would move in with her to take care of her

hi! My name is Dana Larson. My husband and I live in Beckville, Tx. We moved here 9 years ago for my husband's work in Marshall, Tx nearby. I concluded my teaching career of 25 years here as well. I worked with special needs children and young adults. Since I retired last year my mother has moved in with us so she would have the care that she needs. I am well versed on elderly care, including meal prep, dressing and grooming, housekeeping, exercise, errand running, and the companionship that is desired by so many, whether it be playing cards or dominoes, reading a book, going for a walk on a beautiful day, going to see a movie, or just listening to their personal stories that bring joy to their day. I must say that I think it is a privilege to be there for our elderly, and hopefully be the kind of person that they would look forward to seeing, and spending their valuable time with.

OK so with me I feel I am Very reliable , honest, professional and just absolutely a bright Joy of Sunshine. I am the kind of person that has the heart to love everyone and treats all equal. I love helping and going out of my way if needed.

I love caregiving I started out taking care of my grandmother until she passed and then my mother. Ive also cared for dementia and alzheimer patients and i love it. I feel like they just need someone to have a little extra patience.

I am coming with compassion, care, empathy for the ones who needs help. The reason I decided to become a caregiver is seeing my uncle whom was in need of a little extra help as he got older and could not help himself anymore. My enjoyment comes from seeing clients happy that I'm there to be of assistance to them.

1. I take care of people who need help in their daily living. 2. I like it because I am helping someone who needs my help and making their life a little easier. 3. I went to school and got my CNA License. 4. I love taking care of people who can't make it by themselves and I love making a difference in someone's life...I enjoy doing what I'm doing.

I became a caregiver because my mother and grandmother were caregivers and I've grown up to love being a caregiver. I am a great caregiver because I am patient, dependable, kind, and very caring. I've been doing home health for about two years now . I went to Blinn to acquire my CNA , I am still furthering my education in this field .

I helped my mother for 4 years ovarian cancer until she passed away looking for a job while going to school

My name is Elizabeth but you may call me Liz. I am 23 years old and really enjoy helping others. What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very patient and kind, and I never ever rush my clients that I have. I treat them as if they were my own family. Im very easy going and easy to get along with and a great listener. I enjoy being a caregiver because I get to help others that are in need of help. One of my achievements of being a caregiver is satisfying him or her to the best of my ability before leaving their home.

My personality traits are I prefer to stay in a state of positivity. I am stable, dependable and reliable. I started at the age of 17 years old caring for an elderly lady out of financial necessity, but I realized I love being needed, helping others and learning so much from them. I have so many stories that they have told me about how things were when they were little that I could talk on and on. The wisdom behind those years are unreasonable. Personal achievement as far as work would be when my clients/ individuals feel comfortable with me and I with them. We are never to young or old to learn from each other in all aspects of life. Being elderly can sometimes feel lonely and may leave some feeling forgotten or useless. So I enjoy making them feel important and cared for.

I am a compassionate and patient servant !! I consider serving individuals who have autism, IDD and developmental disabilities a ministry. I love watching the clients that I work with achieve and master their goals. In addition, I love seeing a decrease in targeted (negative) behaviors. I have recently obtained my RBT Certification and I am excited about working on my BCBA credential!!

I'm a very hard work I have my CNA license and my CPR license worked in this filed 14 years I love helping people just to see a smile on a patient face makes my day knowing I'm doing the job right I'm honest caring compassionate cook clean wash clothes take to appointment and spending qautily time with them and making sure there need are meet.
