I was raised by my grandparents all the way up till high school. While living with them they instilled countless of values and morales. Which is why upon graduating with my B.S. from Houston Christian Univeristy, I returned home to look after them. Through them and my professional experience i've learned tremendous patience and how to properly address and handle any situation a care giver may experience. I was officially hired as my grandfathers provider through the VA when he reached 100% disability until his passing at 102. I have since worked for two other home care agencies, and have over 2 years of experience professionally. I am also sponsored by Project Arriba, while I complete a 2-year Echocardiography program at EPCC. I can say with confidence I am able to effectively and superbly perform any task as a caregiver and provide exceptional customer service.

Hello my name is Angelica I have been a caregiver for 15+ years I took care of my father he passed away last year at the age of 89. Every day I woke up ready to take care of him I love being his caregiver it was stressful at times just like with any other job but knowing every day I made a difference in his life brought me so much happiness I did everything for my dad to keep them as comfortable as possible I bathed him fed him took care of his medication I would motivate him to get out of bed and start his day to walk exercise we would watch TV shows we would play around with our dogs and we love listening to music together. After my father passed away I found other people to take care of my responsibilities are very similar to what I would do with my dad I love doing what I do.

Since I moved here to Denver I have no work for child care. But before moving here I was working as caregiver with my grandparents specifically my grandmother. that's when I started enjoying working with elderly I learned a lot by my grandma she taught me a lot of things that I didn't know with her it was with diabetes and my duties were to be in charge of taking her to doctors appointments her medication home cleaning and learn how to remove and put on her prostate leg. I would have to drive her at least three times a week to get her dialysis because that's what she needed mostly and after she passed away my parents moved in with them so I was mostly in charge of my parents so there needs their food doctors appointments and medication.

I have been a cna/caregiver for over 30 years, I started at the age of 17 I knew I wanted to help people our elderly population I love what I do and am a loyal compassionate caregiver. At the moment I can work weekends in the mornings for anyone who is interested your loved one will be in good hands, will be treated with dignity and respect as they should as they have earned it

I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to help others and I enjoy doing it because I believe that anyone deserves the best care without any discrimination. One thing that make me feel so good about me is when a new client ask me to come back.

I believe everybody should feel the best they can no matter what their age or disability and if I could help you to do that I will. I am very patient, respectful, and understanding. I took care of my parents for several years up to their last days. My healthy strong father suddenly became ill and was a mystery to the doctors for a long time. I was there by his side through much suffering and surgeries and through it all he was uplifting and gracious. My mom then became ill and I did everything I could for her. She was amazing. I like to help others if I can.

What attracted me as a caregiver is taking care of my grandpa. He got really sick and had no one else care for him. So I stepped out and cared for him. So me helping him every day with his ADL's gave me the courage to help not just my grandpa but others as well. The most thing I enjoy as a caregiver is making my patient laugh or smile before I end my shift. That's the most I enjoy as a caregiver.

Hello my name is Gabriela, I have over 3+ years of experience with caring for the elderly. I first became a care I'm provider for my father many years ago. Seeing a loved one in need of help really brought an understanding of how important this role is. Over the years I've had many clients with many different needs, from companion care, transportation visits to appointments, to even dementia care! I've learned so much a long the way. I do believe this work is more than just care. To me it's an opportunity to build trusting relationships and connections. Each of my clients had a special place in my heart, and I'm absolutely positive the next one will as well.

I have worked off and on since 1985 caring for the elderly. I am available weekly Monday through Thursday for a 10/12 hour shift each day, either days or nights. I am available also for working a 7 day shift opposite another who works the other 7 days. It Is much easier having 2 caregivers and makes the Senior's life easier. We get to know their likes and dislikes, the routine stays the same and the family is more comfortable knowing the care givers. I cared for both of my parents and find Care Giving for the Elderly to be very rewarding by giving then the chance to remain at home in comfortable surroundings. I have 10 years with Dementia/Alzheimer's Care, 20+years with Diabetic Care. I love to cook and light housekeeping is no problem. I drive to appointments, shopping and just a drive itself. I'm very experienced with shopping for the Senior and always try to follow their likes. I have my CPR(Adult/Child/Infant/Choking) AED/First-Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate.

I treat all my clients like if they were my own mother and father. Family is very important to me.I've been a caregiver for 15 years . Caregiver is not for everyone it's very emotionally ,mentally and physically draining job . By taking care of someone's love ones mother father brother sister makes me feel good that I'm doing something good for others . The feeling you get back is 100% better I have always thought to give is better than receiving I'm a very giving person. I lost both my parents at a very early age and I took care of my sister as she was suffering from lupus . I took care of my first husband he had a heart condition and Diabetic he passed away three years ago in our home . I have now moved on and remarried to a Wonderful strong , supportive , retired ATF marine. We also have a Niece that's nine that I am legal guardian too and we are raising her the best way we know how and that's with lots of love. I have four kids and two step kids and eight grandchildren that I love dearly.

I am a wife of 23 years and mother of 4 rediculously awesome children! I am looking for a job with a purpose. I want to put a smile on someone's face and let them know that they matter!
