I believe caregiving is a calling that takes patients and caring. I feel those are the fundamental foundations of being a good caregiver. I enjoy helping clients be the best they can be that day, from listening to them, assisting with ADLs, making sure that are taking their meds or just holding their hand if they need it. I also believe the family is a huge part of taking care of a client and as a team, we help their loved one be the best they can be.

I became a certified Nurse Assistant because my mother is one and I watch how amazing it is to help people. I am proud of myself that I am well liked and recommend for my good service from my patients and coworkers how great of a worker I am. I am a 35 year old single parent that is in school trying to get my Register Nurse license. I have done many types of job work experience from, retail, fast food, home health, private duty, to nursing homes and group homes!

I love people and one day I will need care , and would like someone to be there for me.

I am a 20 year old female who loves caring for others. Throughout my high school years I aided with special needs children. Through those years of aiding, I found who I truly was. I learned so much not only about myself, but about everyone I interacted with as well. I not only love caring and providing for others, but the relationships built while doing so is like no other. I love making others feel better, not just at that time in moment, but also about themselves. My biggest personal achievement is finding why God put me on this earth and that is to aide and care for individuals, motivate and push others, and most importantly impact and empower individuals in the most powerful way possible!

I have about 5 years in the healthcare industry working in a hospital, skilled nursing, assisted living and home healthcare environments. I have worked with memory care, parkinsons, surgical recovery and more. Every client is different with different needs so I always adjust their needs to my individuals care plan. I prefer to stay with the same person(s) as long as possible. I will accommodate any activities of daily living including, bathing, dressing, assisting with toileting, mobility assistance, medication reminders and more. I own a new vehicle and would be able to safely provide transportation or run errands. Meal preparation is important to me since I believe eating out of a can or freezer is unhealthy. It only takes and few more minutes to cook fresh food and it also tastes better. Light housekeeping is a must. Dishes, laundry, organizing, mopping here and there, light dusting are expected of a caregiver. I am also an animal lover and involved in many rescues so it is out of the question that any animals would get extra love and be cared for. I have a lot of free time on my hands so instead of doing nothing in that time, I would much rather help someone who needs it.

I am a very compassionate individual with a heart for seniors. I love to listen to stories and also tell some of my own! I have the gift of patience and my counseling background helps me understand the unique needs that seniors face. My greatest personal achievement was to raise two disabled children to become productive and successful members of society.

I am loving and very caring. I am devoted to fulfilling the needs of my patients. I've been working to partake in a caregiving role my entire life, and now that I am certified to do so, I am loving it! I love the relationships I create, and the love I am able to spread. The needs of my patients and their families come first, and I would love to be your caregiver!

My personality traits: I'm a very happy and outgoing person. I love talking and making new friends. I treat every patient/client as if they are apart of my family. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is, I love helping others that need assistance and providing them with genuine companionship. A personal achievement I am proud of is, I'm almost done with College and I'm very excited to finally graduate and begin a new career.

I have a ver upbeat and positive attitude that help with my career as a caregiver I love being around the residents at my current job and the other places I worked before that I am very hardworking and take pride in being able to provide the best care.

My personality is very outgoing, every person i come in contact with i see them more as someone i just met, they become family that fast. It has alway been a passion of mine to look after the elderly ( i have a soft spot for them) thats why I got my degree in Healthcare Administration and finished my internship at a nursing facility. Just being able to help someone else in need attracted me to being an care giver, the internship wasn't enough i feel like that was more on a business level rather than a personal level, i want the person i care for to feel like i care not their just someone I'm watching after for money. I enjoy getting to know new people and the sense of gratitude i feel after rendering my services. A personal achievement i am proud of is starting my own organic frozen yogurt and dog treat business called Froyo Dogg!

After high school I completed 40 clinical hours at a nursing home and it served to enlighten me on just how many issues there are with long term care centers. It's a passion of mine to ensure that age does not become a predisposition for bad care.

I have been taking care of the elderly members of our church for many years. I have decided to turn this into a job because I already hang out with folks and help them around their house anyway. I have a passion to meet someone where they're at and build a friendship. I would be honored to care for your loved one and treat them like family.

The best thing I can say about myself is something my dad taught me many years ago: "People my never know you by name but they will always know you by the work you do." That is how I have lived my life. Have a very strong work ethic that has helped me achieve great success in everything I've ever done.

I am a retired LVN. I have been married for almost 30 years. I have 6 children all grown. I have been blessed with 6 grandchildren a a new great grandchild. I was a foster parent for several years. I have been retired for 6 years. I enjoy taking care of others and miss that part of my life. I am wanting to do that again.

As the oldest of 9 children, I've been an unofficial caregiver most of my life. I'm outgoing, personable, and patient. As a certified nurse aid, I am certified in a wide range of caregiving skills as well as have my BLS certification. I love caring for people and doing everything in my power to make others comfortable and happy.

I got into the medical field after caring for my grandmother who had dementia, Alzheimer's, and cancer. I took care of her in house for a couple years. This brought me into the passion that I have for caring for people who need help. I am very empathetic and will always give my 100 percent at all times. I enjoy cleaning and doing chores around the house. I also love to listen and make very good conversation. At the end of the day I love hearing the little things every person has learned throughout their life. Everyone has some type of little life tid bit that they can give you and I take those with me.

I have been in the medical field for fourteen years I have done a little of everything from telemetry, to medical surgical, to being a substitute teacher and correctional officer which was really interesting.
