Hello, I just want you to lnow that I'm a very compassionate person. I love to make people smile. I have a great sense of humor and I love helping where needed. I appreciate the joy of being able to make your loved one smile daily.

I have been a stay at home mom for the last 20 years. My only child is in College now and I would like to get a part time job that allows me to help others while making some income to help with my childs college.

I am a proud mom to two adult children and grandmother to one. I am friendly and hardly ever meet a stranger. I am a Registered Pharmacy Technician. I had to suddenly leave my job last year because my father who has Dementia had to be placed in house for around the clock care immediately. This type of work would be a good fit for me because I genuinely care about people. An achievement that I'm especially proud of would be passing my State Pharmacy exam.

This is a time when many of our seniors lose their significant other, have lost friends and realize they are not far from it. Many have loss ability or function in their body and they need that extra care, tender, love, and a companion. No one wants to believe they are not what they use to be, strong, independent and happy, and struggle to admit they are not where they use to be and they need help. I love to be able to be that little light and extra help they can receive. A simple smile can always go a long way. The feeling is rewarding especially when the appreciation goes both ways.

I have a passion for caring for others and giving them the companionship they long for. I admire the people I work for and respect all their privates. I have experience in checking vitals, giving medicine, immobility, Dementia and so on. I strive to give the patients the best care possible. I do housework and meal prep if needed or required as well as helping with personal needs; bathing, wiping and help getting dressed. I make appointments for patients and drive them around to all places needed. At the end of the day, my job would be done if they have a smile on their face and feel more energized and happy.

I really enjoy helping others. I think it's a blessing to help people who need help. Understanding one day I may need a honest and kind person to take care of me. It drives me to be a shoulder to lean on.

I've always been a caregiver by nature. I love being a nurturer and healer. I've been in the Heathcare field for 27yrs now and have worked in many health care settings. I've enjoyed helping others.

My name is Kimberly I am currently a single mother to one child I have been in the medical field for about a total of 12 years now, I love what I do. Helping others is truly my passion. I was a certified nursing assistant I started off working in a nursing home I then worked for hospice care and then after that I did work in the hospital. I am currently continuing my education to become a registered nurse, to continue my mission providing excellent care to those in need. I love the excitement in the joy of being around elderly geriatric patients. I think I like most about this is the joy that you can bring them from companionship listening to them being able to assist them and I do love to treat all my patients as if I would want somebody to treat my mother and father or grandparents when they were in a time of need. My most Personal Achievement is being able to see people through the end of life making sure that they were treated with the utmost dignity and respect and the best care. I like to be a blessing to those that I help the patient as well as the family as much as possible. I am very dependable, trust worthy, compassionate, loving, understanding, and exceptionally well with those with disabilities. I am on time and always on call with the proper notice, andI always go above over and beyond for my patients. Always putting their needs and safety first.

A little bit about me, I am a 34 year old mother of 2 beautiful boys ages 14 and 8. I am a wife to my loving husband of 13 years, Jeremy. I have learned many trades throughout my working years, yet I always gravitate back to caregiving. I'm passionate about the level of care I can provide for your loved one. I have years of professional experience in home health, alzheimers/ dementia as well as caring for quadriplegics. I have excellent and recent references. I am currently working on my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Although my ultimate career choice would be as an RN for hospice.

I feel my positive outlook, personality, and love of people are what make me good as a care giver. Taking care of my grandmother early on in life also helped me learn my gift. I am passionate about making sure proper care and love are given to families loved ones. That is all I would ask for my own. There are so many reasons I love care giving. I learn from their wisdom. The genuine laughter, emotion. and daily activity are all priceless. I'm proud to be able to look back on my experience in this field and say my employer/ patients were happy healthy and well taken care of.

Care giving is one of the most rewarding careers I can think of. You get to give companionship when family can not. I have seen what it means to my husbands 94yr old grandfather and it felt like a calling. I have a culinary certificate, so cooking is not an issue. I am up to date on my CPR/First Aid/AER certification. I just completed my last class for Chemical Dependency Specialist/Mental Health and start clinics in January. In the mean time, I am starting a CNA course to add to my resume and it will be completed on December 8,2017. (These hours do not affect my ability to work during the day). I umderstand through my college work that addiction can impact the elderly and I want to specialize in that for the Polk County Area. I would adore the chance to find a family to work with that will appreciate the variety of different skills I can bring to being a companion!
