I have been a caregiver/cna since June 2012 in the state of Texas. The ones I care for are not only clients to me, they are friends and I always feel truly blessed to have each one of them a part of my life. To hear their stories about their past is my favorite pass time. Everyone has their own routine and way of doing things, this is what they have done for years. When I am providing care I take the time to learn their routine so they continue the way they have done things. I take pride in the fact that I can help others everyday and love what I do.

I am a very companionate person, the client needs come first and I will do what every it takes to make sure the client is taking care of. I have been wanting to be a caregiver all my life and that dream come true four years ago . I am currently taking classes to become a regirstsred nurse. I enjoy taking care of people and begin there for them when they need someone the most.

I became a caregiver so I could help take care of my dad. I treat my clients like I want my parents treated. I'm a veteran and retired truck driver looking for part time work to subsidize income while I continue my education. I enjoy caring for those who can't care for themselves. I'm married and have two children at home.

My personal experience from the age of 17 have always been very carrying for other,self moving on get the job done and will not walk away for what gets and my way.

I am RN for a local rehab hospital, I have been a nurse for about 8 years, I've worked in several different nursing specialty including long term care. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love providing care to those who have cared for others probably their entire lives. I have had family that have required the care of other and they were absolutely wonderful so I like to "pay it forward", and be that supportive helping hand to other families who may need it. In my nursing career I've met people from all walks of life who have been so supportive and encouraging to me even during hard times the families are still so appreciative and thankful for the care provided to their loved ones.
