I have been in healthcare for 14 years I have specialized in home health for the past 10 years my last client I was with her for over 6 years she was a cancer survivor and I was with her throughout her radiation and chemo treatments and helped her get through her cancer when she became very ill in her last stage of life I was with her then as wells when hospice was brought in so I specialize in hospice care as well as she is not my first patient on hospice care.

Hello! My name is Sarai I been a caregiver for as long as I can remember. As a little girl I remember going to my grandparents and I remembered how their lives were and saw how much help was needed. I grew to understand that my place was to be a caregiver. Through the years I learn to know my personal traits was being honest, compassionate and supportive. Being dependable and patient was one main key to caring for the elderly. Having a one-on-one interaction with my clients it gives me the great feeling to know is a way of helping family members and hearing the stories to be said. The most satisfied part of being a caregiver is being able to work from a home environment in a client's please. One of many achievements I'm proud of being a caregiver is to be able to demonstrate my inner strength and gain better understanding my the values and career goal I have as a caregiver. I love my grandparents and to be able to be there and love my job at the same time is a blessing.

Am extremely calm and patient, a great listener. Well growing up, have experienced the other side of life to an extend and in future wish to open and orphanage and a comfortable facility for the retired so i decided to learn from scratch. Nothing is as fulfilling as putting a smile on someone's face. Being able to give a helping hand is what I enjoy most. I am a very positive, responsible and just overall caring person. I believe every human being deserves love and compassion. I enjoy life and just want to share joy with everyone around me. These traits definitely help me in being a great caregiver. I was able to learn this about myself when I worked in a hospital setting. As a patient transporter, we would see as many as 50 new patients every day. This helped me learn a lot about humans in general but also about the struggles and passion that we all share. The passion is what attracts me to being a caregiver, especially for the elderly. They need more help than most people around us. I thoroughly enjoy the smiles and appreciation that someone exudes when you help them without judgement. A personal achievement that I am proud of would have to be living my life successfully while ensuring my children are as happy as can be. I have so much to give and just want to help as many people as I can.

Hello my name is Latoya and I have been a caregiver for 7 years. I love taking care of people especially if they can no longer do it themselves. Helping and encouraging them to be mobile if possible while listening and engaging conversation on topics that are most important to them. I have knowledge of and experience with Senior care in different environments such as one-on-one home health/companionship, retirement homes, and assisted living facilities. I am trained in a broad range of dynamics pertaining to but not limited to special needs. Intense hands-on training and focus in providing care for m.h.m.r/disabled/dementia/Alzheimer’s, and disease debilitating patients. I am trained C.N.A and I know how to use proper technique for transfer/ambulation to those that are physically challenged, and have mobility/barriers. Further knowledge includes use of basic lifting, Hoyer lift, and gate belts for those who are prone to falls. I do believe in charting the progress of my patients so that their family, physician's and loved one's can keep up with their every day care and any changes that may occur. I am professional and honor confidentiality. I have a current driver's license and automobile insurance. I am a non-smoker and prefer to work in a non-smoking environment, and I am comfortable working in a home who has pets as long as they do not bite. I have training in incontinence care and able to change adult briefs.

I've always been the one that wants to help others which mostly deals with people in need. I love spending time with others that need their spirit uplifted and enjoy helping others with their basic every day care. I've had several family members that have went through needing one on one care that didn't have the option of getting it and it broke my heart. I always tried my hardest to help them when I could or was in town. I love caring for others and am continuing my education in healthcare at the moment. I'm hoping to still care for others as Mammogram Technician.

Well what makes me a caregiver I'd caring and taking care of all the client needs. What have I achieved gaining trust with my clients and making them comfortable and happy. I enjoy talking withy clients and learning new things and just being a shoulder to lean on. I proud of still being able to do what I live and I became a caregiver because it was second nature and my family did it so I decided to try and began to love it

I have been a caregiver off and on for 10 years. I worked for several companies over the years and went to private care the reminder of the time. I have always had patience with people and a desire to help. I love people and love working with them. I became a caregiver because I want to be a nurse. I believe in order to be a great nurse you have to start with caregiver to see what all you can deal with. The most I love about being a caregiver is helping someone. My greatest personal achievement so far is going back to school and getting my nursing license.

I worked with a few medical facilities involving cancer and hematology issues as well as daily care and pain management. I've worked as a CNA for many years, worked for a few state schools taking care of sick elderly patients with all sorts of medical issues. I have a good background and care about people. I'm a people person and take care of everyone around me. I'm a caring person who is reliable and trustworthy. I have my own transportation.

God put me in this career.It is my calling, and I have been doing it for going on 15 years. I at one point worked in a nursing home as a housekeeper ,and I observed how the clients /patients were being treated and thought I could do better. What I enjoy most is learning about all the old time stories of the past , hearing them brag on their children and grandchildren, looking at photos, and getting to see my clients smile. And being able to give one client at a time full attention and care. I am very pleased that I have achieved at a career that I love to go to every day. It truly is a blessing .

I am a great caregiver because I've worked with both elderly and young adults. I help out my grandparents the most and being with them makes me want to help out other people. I am very patient and can get my grandpa to take his medicine even when he doesn't want to. I've always put a smile on a face and am easy to work with. I feel like the client should be happier when I leave then when I get there.

Since I was very young,I have always been a caring person, loved the Lord and continued to take my personality to different levels,I started nursing but raised my children instead but I became a nurses aide as well as a day care worker,I continued with nurses aide work in nursing homes,I did switch jobs quite a bit as I raised my children and often worked two but mum love has always been as a caretaker young and old,I have worked at a hospital and several nursing homes, done home health, and I am currently processing paperwork to continue nursing,

I am an empathetic, compassionate, patient-focused home care assistant. I am self-directed with a high level of personal accountability coupled with astute judgement skills. I am a great in-home care provider as I listen to and connect with each client and cultivate well-being in the home.

I take what I do above and beyond what is expected of me. When someone needs care I do my very best of their needs plus take extra innitive making sure the person is made comfortable in their own home. What attracted me to caregiving will have to be I feel I am natural carer for any one who might need someone that really cares. I do treat each and every one as if a part of my family ..as their family members. Again I try to go above and beyond for thoat extra care. What do I enjoy the most? I worked for Humana back in 2013, I'm certified in billing an enrollment. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia an I've been helping her an I want to continue to help others that struggle with this disease an other struggles they may have. Hi My name is Uhmiyah Busby , I am 19 years old & Im from Waco Tx . I am the second oldest of 7 sibling. I am a very caring person with a very big heart. What attracted me to being a caregiver was a program we had in school called Gwahca , We would go to different facilities & learn hands on how to take care for the patients there in all different areas. I have been a stay at home mom for the last 20 years. My only child is in College now and I would like to get a part time job that allows me to help others while making some income to help with my childs college.

I became a caregiver 21 year ago after taking care of my grandmother during her time of sickness. I love helping others with the task in life that they need assistance with. After 21 years I am still working in the health field helping others and I love my job.
