I have been a caregiver for about 2 years now, and I love helping others. I know I would like someone to help me if I needed it.

I have been a certified CNA for 20 + years. I have been an activity director for the last 5 years. I am the kind of person that loves to go out of her way to help the needy. (I always look to help someone that needs it ) . It brightens my life to help someone. I have always been told I am a selfless person. ( I'm proud to have that handle). Worked hard for it.. I am just looking for a change outside of a Nursing home. I have seen a lot and prefer to not be around that anymore. You can definitely trust me with your loved ones. A great caregiver? What makes you one? I would say being able to love others loved ones as your own can care for their daily needs with no hesitation. The patience it takes is something only few are built for and I cherish every moment with them. I became a CNA, caregiver about 8 years ago. I love taking care of people and all their needs. It is my ambition to give excellent care to the elderly and ill patients. I have learned many things working as a CNA, caregiver. One is really understanding the patients feelings and spending time with them when they need someone to just talk to. Patience goes a long way in any nursing field. I attended Weatherford College last fall. I am interested in the LVN nursing program. My goal is to attend college or trade school again and further my education to be a nurse. I truly love caring for people with all disabilities. It has been my greatest interest in life.

I am currently attending Weatherford College to recieve my CNA and then will continue my education and go for my RN.
