I started doing home care in June 2009 as a Nurse Assistant/ PCA , I mainly did private duty cases overnight 11pm-7am and I really enjoy it. It was hard at times but i enjoy taking care of my clients , making sure they were fed, bathed, and had a good night rest. Most of my home care clients had dementia or was recovering from surgery or some sort. I started doing homecare when i was temporary taking care of my grandmother while my parents were at work , after i graduated from high school . i would have to say that was a personal achievement of mine , to get my Nurse Assistant/PCA certification after helping caring for my grandmother.

As a highly competent caregiver companion, I bring a service- focused and hardworking attitude to this role. I maintain an efficient and organized work mentality as I assist in the care of several geriatric and chronically ill patients. I have an instinct for problem solving and work well independently and with little oversight. I am compassionate, outgoing, resourceful, and believe that trust and honesty are key when in a caregivers role. I was attracted to care giving due to my need of wanting to help people. What I enjoy the most is building a bond and being apart of the recovery process. My biggest achievement in care giving was being able to help my mom over a period of two years recover from her Ru in y Gastric bypass surgery. Prior to her surgery she had diabetes and kidney disease for 3 years and didn't think she would make it to the age of 40. After her surgery I was apart of the recovery process and seeing her healthy and free of diabetes and kidney disease has been the best experience and biggest accomplishment in my life. Therefore I want to continue and help others because its what I truly love to do.

Hi I have been a cna for 10 years going on 11 years I enjoy working with my patients and making them happy is my number one concern .

I believe that i am a great caregiver because i put my heart and soul into my work. I am very dedicated to the people i work for and my main goal is to keep them happy,healthy and comfortable. I started working in this field after having to take care of my grandmother in my teenage years. Also because many of the elderly just want someone to talk to and i love this wisdom and stories they tell.

I have 15 years of experience, working with elderly people, helping them in there needs like showering, changing clothes, and doing activities with them, helping the elders with there exercise, taking them to the hospital, taking them shopping, and principally help them and take care of them, and giving them company as well.
