I became a caregiver because I was able to take care of my sick mother home for 4 years until it turned into Hospice care at my home. I am trustworthy with training, education, and guidance with caring for families , so they will receive emotional support and are comfortable in their environment. My compassion for patients allows me to have understanding and be attentive to their needs. I will follow set rules be punctual, and show good time - management. Quality of care and safety for patients are very important to me.

I enjoy helping and taking care of people who need it. I love listening to the wisdom of my elders! I also just love bringing happiness and some sunshine into someone's life! I have been a Medical Assistant for 28 years, for 18 of those years I worked in 2 different Urology offices, 5 working in an ENT and Allergy office. I am currently working in a Family Practice office. I have enjoyed working in each office and established a great rapport with the majority of the patients I have encountered, as well as there respect and gratitude. I also worked in Home Health for a brief period. One of my clients hired me to continue taking care of her mother, which was extremely gratifying to know she was so pleased with the care I provided and trusted me to continue taking care of her mother.

I've always wanted to be a caregiver since I was very young. I am a very compassionate person and love taking care of others. I have raised 3 beautiful children and have taken care of my grandchildren as well. I have also taken care of my mother who is elderly. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is making others happy and comfortable.

I became a caregiver due to when i was young i watch my great grandmother struggle with cancer. I tried to take care of her even though i was young. Since then when i got grown i decided to pursue a care in nursing. I like being a caregiver because i enjoy charing a part of myself with others. My most personal achievement was being one of the 1st to graduate high school on my mother side of the family and being able to attend collage . As for a little about my self I am a very independent woman, I have 3 children and married for almost 21 years, been doing nurse assistants with license for almost 21 years, and Ienjoy meeting new peoples.

I became a licensed CNA in 1992 intending to further my education to RN while working as a CNA. Once I began working in geriatrics I absolutely loved it and decided to remain a CNA so my job would always be very hands on. I have worked in both nursing home and home health settings and while I enjoyed the teamwork and high energy required in the nursing home I also very much enjoy the relationship that grows between the caregiver and the client in a one on one setting. I truly feel that the better you know the patient the better you are able to provide the care and companionship they need. I also understand the want of individuals to remain in their own homes during their golden years and believe that with the support of family members and when matched with the right caregiver this is possible even through their hospice care.

I have been caring for seniors for 23 years. I consider myself to be a very caring and compassionate person. I have always had the ability to care for others the way I would like to be cared for. I became a Nursing Assistant to make a change in people's lives, to make a person smile makes my day. The most rewarding aspect of being in this profession is the positive feedback I receive from the families of how well taken care of their loved one is. I really enjoy being around the elderly they are so amazing, the stories they have are very interesting. My biggest achievement in my work is helping those who need proper care and giving the best of care. I have had the pleasure of working with, but not limited to, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, cancer, hospice, diabetics, Asperger's, paralysis, and wheelchair bound. I also have medication management, blood sugar monitoring and insulin injections, catheter care, wound care, transfer board, incontinence and more. This is my calling in life to care for others in a professional and respectful way.

I am a great caregiver because I enjoy working with seniors am out going ,compassionate, very punctual and very attentive to others needs I also have been a certified caregiver for over six years. I have over two years in training working with seniors who have Alzheimer and dementia I completed the training course in 2007 in saint petersburg Florida menorah manor school of nursing.

I'm a married mother of one who is expecting my first grandchild in may. I am seeking part time employment and I have many years of caring for individual's in their homes. An Alzheimer's patient, a stroke victim, and a little last who just has some gait issue's who just wants to stay at home. I love working with my ladies, the job is a reward in itself.
