My name is Quianna I have always enjoyed working with people and the medical field has given me an opportunity to help others. Being a caregiver and working with patients in physical therapy has really been a blessing in gaining patient care experience and using my education. I have a bachelor's of science degree that has put me in a great position to continue my education in the medical field. I truly love being able to meet new people and build relationships. Caregivjng is an excellent stepping stone to help me as I apply to nursing school.

I am a very outgoing person who really enjoys people and what they have to bring to the table. I have a friend who is a caregiver and listening and watching what she does for her people , always made me dream I can do that and want to do that. I have a gentle demeanor about myself to get a job done. I am strong and in good health. My personal achievement I am most proud of is raising my 3 children and the persons they have become to be both internally and what they have become.

I've been caregiving for 7 years now and continue to do so. I love what I do and the relationships that form. I just recently took an advanced home care aide specialist program as well as my continuing education courses required to keep my hca license valid every year. I am well qualified and up to date. I make a great caregiver because I am not only empathetic , caring and patient, but I also upgrade my skills every year so they are always current. Most of my caregiving experience has been with stroke, heart attack, dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice care, elderly, memory issues, drug addiction, over all care, schizophrenia, and infant care. I particularly find enjoyment in elder care. I took care of my father at his end of life, and believe that all individuals deserve to be treated with respect, love and to be safe. I currently take care of my younger brother who suffers from a variety of medical issues derived from his stroke. I began my work career as a designer and computer engineer, but gave up the latter to take care of my father and brothers. It is very fulfilling.
