I started caring for my grandmother more than 20 years ago and since then I've worked with elderly clients. I've been a caregiver for more than 15 years and have had the pleasure of knowing wonderfull people over the past years. I consider myself honest, compassionate, reliable and caring. I have reliable transportation , insurance and good driving record. .I believe the key of being a good caregiver is by treating the client with respect and dignity and to love what you do.

I have a certificate as a cna and have worked in different health care settings for 5yrs. I enjoy helping other people and providing patient care. My goal is to keep patient as safe and comfortable as possible while helping keep their rooms clean. I change linens and assist with medication reminders.

I started as a caregiver my first quarter of college. I had never been in the healthcare field and I must admit that when I did get hired as a caregiver, i thought to myself 'what am i getting into?' Like any other job i was nervous at first, i had never done this and would i be able to take care of another human? i didn't think i would make it a month! How wrong I was! Soon after starting, i began to realize this was more than just a paycheck, I went to work and came home feeling good because i could help people, make them laugh with my goofiness, take them out to see new places even if it was close to their home. The fact that i could encourage people to come out and enjoy life was an amazing feeling! And although i do not plan on doing this for the rest of my life, it is nice to feel that while i am doing it, i can help influence people to live happy and comfortable lives with my assistance.

My advocacy for my clients and genuine care for them makes me a good caregiver. I'm honest, hard working , caring and treat people as I want to be treated. what attracted me to the job is the humbleness it gives you. the appreciation , the abilities give back and help someone and do something good with my time while also making a living, I also enjoy these things most about my job. Starting my own business.

After a bad experience in the healthcare field- I knew passionate care as a profession was a part of me and it fulfilled me with joy. I would love if you give me the opportunity to be your caregiver.

1. I became a caregiver because I want to give back to the elderly that once loved and took care of me when I was younger. 2. I like the mere fact that when I assist the elderly, I'm able to make a difference in their life. For instance, I love to see them smile and that they can feel safe with me. I enjoy everything about being a caregiver. I love the interactions with the people I care for. I love to connect and get to know those I care for. I enjoy getting to know them, what they like and dislike, what makes them happy and hobbies they like to do. My personal achievement is knowing that I make whomever feel safe, and happy that I'm there to care for a patient/client but to also be that person their families can trust to take responsibility of their loved one.

My mother and grandma both used to work in hospice when i was younger so i grew up in an actual hospice home helping take care of all the patients. I am a very positive and upbeat individual who genuinely enjoys helping those who cannot help themselves. I am punctual and very experienced and I treat my patients like I would my own parents. I am passionate about elderly care and I always have been . I started caregiving at the age of 17 and have loved it since. I think some of my expertise would be giving care to residents I have done it for about 3 years now. I know how to do transfers very well. I love to be on time everyday and have things get done. That might be a issue but it's just that I like to be very clean and make the place look like a home. I personally had my grandma pass with breast cancer and I was with her everyday since she was diagnosed and it inspired me to help other and she would tell me she would see me as a caregiver. What I enjoy the most of being a caregiver, it would be when I get to Meet all residents and we get to bond and see them happy and then telling you we make their day extra better! That makes me feel super happy just to hear it coming from them.
