Greetings my name is Elizabeth. I am 21 years old, I've been a caregiver for 3 years. I believe what makes me good at my job is me understanding how each client I help feel. I place myself in their position . I understand our elders are looking for caring, responsible, respectful and understanding caregivers and I believe I deliver that service well. I am naturally a outgoing person, humours, good listener and I get along with others well. I became interested in the medical field at a young age. Always have been intrigued and amazed at what those in medical field do. The compassion, motivation to help others is what truly drew me. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is seeing my clients satisfied with my care. Them feeling like they have received the care they asked for is what reminds me of why I chose to do what I do. Through caregiving I'm learned to be more patient, compassionate and understanding these skills I am very proud of and to this day I apply them to my own personal life.

I'm Anita 27 years, South African, when I was there I worked as a caregiver for seniors from the ages of 48to 89 in large groups of 4 to 7 for a year where I assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer's diseases with daily living needs and I also worked as a private caregiver. I am a compassionate person and enjoy providing care to people of different ages. It gives me great satisfaction to think I am of help to someone and making a difference in daily living of the clients. I'm a very active and responsible person, deeply committed to treating elderly with dignity and respect.I like music, reading and being outside taking a walk. I'm a student and looking forward to pursue my goal to continue my studies during fall. I'm very aware of Covid, I wear a mask every time I go out to the essentials, social distancing and I barely go out.

I been a care giver for more than 10years. The reason that makes me a great caregiver is i am really caring person for any one naturally. I have a dream to become a nurse when i was a little and this is the way to start. I like my job because it makes me happy helping other people that need help. My personal goal in a future is become a nurse and work in a bigger facility and may be one day go back my home country and help people too. And i am half way achieving my goal and i am always proud of myself

I am passionate to help others especially the ones that need help (elders). I give them love and respect since also I am a nurturing type of person naturally. I attracted to being a care giver it is blessing to me. I am a mother of two sons and a caregiver of my 80 years old mother. I spend most of my time taking care of my family and that attracted me in being a caregiver and I am good at doing it. The most beautiful thing about being a caregiver is to see others happy because of me. Being the one that they come when they need something. I was created to be a helper, and that is what I am doing and I love it. My personal achievement is getting multiple degrees while having all these responsibilities in my household as a single mom. Being able to raise and guid my kids in the right path is also a big achievement I have accomplished in my entire life.on top of that, i got the first Covid vaccine & after 20 days I will take the second one .

It makes me a great caregiver because Iam very patient and calm. I are very Empathy: Patient:with client allows the elderly to move at their own pace and not make them feel rushed. Companionships ,Dependable and. Honestly, I'm one hundred percent dedicated to my clients care. They are absolutely worth every minute that I take to provide care for them. Knowledgeable: I take my time to get to know exactly what my client needs. Are they on a special diet or medication? Do they need full, physical, hands on care, or are they able to complete some tasks on their own to keep Flexibility is a critical quality in us caregiver, both with medical staff adjustments, and outside responsibilities.

I grew up with my grandparents whom needed constant care and from an early age i found myself enjoying and being happy helping them with activities of their daily living, i derive joy in helping fellow human beings and over the years i have set a personal goal of having few to no negative complains about my work as a caregiver, i take my job seriously and pride myself in what i do.

I think I'm a great care giver because I love to help as much as I can, I also like to care for elders. I started care giving after I was taking care of my parents and I realized that more people need care and I would like to do that!!
