I enjoy helping and taking care of seniors. When my Grandfather was very ill I took care of him and to see the smile on his face and knowing that I was always there for him was very special for both of us .I was taking care of a elder man and he had just lost his wife and was very depressed and needed companionship so after a few months I could see the difference in him. I have been a caregiver for 2 yrs. Before that I was a preschool teacher.I have college course work in Child Development. I`m a compassionate , easygoing and caring person who enjoys helping and being around family and friends.

I take great satisfaction in helping seniors maintain their independence. I enjoy listening to their stories and cooking good meals for them. I am patient, kind, caring and compassionate. Discrete, professional and trustworthy. Activities I enjoy doing with seniors I've cared for include cards and board games, coloring, reading aloud, knitting, going to the movies together or out for a simple lunch or dinner. I have taken my seniors out to local museums, or drives, exploring areas of interest to the senior... anything that helps keep the senior engaged and interested.

I am an experienced, mature senior care worker with an extensive social work background in my home state. As a senior care provider, I offer a personal and intellectual understanding of aging and commonly associated illnesses, good communication skills,a compassionate attitude in my work and a work ethic of responsibility. In each case I take on I do an assessment of the clients needs and the wishes of the family if there is one involved. I meet the client where they are at and respect their desire for self determination. Also I am aware of the fact that I am a stranger, at first, present in their home and home difficult this situation may be for the client. Currently I work for an agency. I wish to increase my hourly and have more control over my assignments.

I am a very outgoing person. I love taking care of my patients as I see them like family. I am very patient and I always put myself in their situation so I can understand better what they are going through. I am a great companion because I love listening to stories and telling stories so its never boring with me.

My husband had a severe head trauma in 1997. I retired early from Bellsouth to take care of him. He passed away in 2012. I realized how much I enjoyed caring for others from being his Caregiver for 15 years. I love making their days happier and filled with someone caring for just them. My last patient passed away a few weeks ago, I took care of her for almost a year. Her family and her told me that she was always happy to see me show up, and they were happy that she was enjoying our visits, and felt comfortable going to work and leaving her with me. I am a caring, compassionate person who truly enjoys helping others.

I have an outgoing personality, the ability to fit in quickly and recognize what needs to be done in the situation. My experience spans over 10 years. I enjoy helping others find different means for maintaining their everyday life.

I love working. I can have a conversation with just about anyone comfortably, I work hard and I make sure my patients are happy and comfortable. I dont mind cleaning up different kinds of messes and helping them get around. I make sure I do my job right. I also have a reliable transportation.

Hello, my name is Debb. I have been in the Caregiver business for 20 years. In that time period I have taken care my clients as if they were family. You will find me friendly and well mannered. What attracted me to health care was see the nursing homes. The number of patients who were being neglected. I just felt that it was my calling. I just wanted to bring my clients some joy and peace of mind. took care of numerous clients some were cancer patients and and some had dementia. In a day i would take care of two clients daily.
