I became a Caregiver because it gives me an opportunity to assist, encourage and make a difference in the lives of my clients. I enjoy making my clients comfortable, see them smile, love them as a person and listen to their many stories. A personal achievement I am proud of is when I heard a client who have never spoken a word in many months from the time I started working with her, turned towards me one day during lunch and asked me if she could have a piece of my lunch. I felt so good, I cried a little). I have been working as a Caregiver/Companion for over 15 years. I look forward everyday when working to having a wonderful and fulfilled day with my clients.

I became a Caregiver and love being a Caregiver after I took care of my mom and dad until The Lord call them home to Glory Land. After they both died I did not wont to stop spreading my love and compassion.

My name is Tracy Richel. I became a care giver about 20 years ago. I decided on this career choice when my great grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer disease. I watched her decline and decided I wanted to help others. It may not be pretty all the time but it is definitely rewarding in many ways. I have been a single mother since the age of 17 so I put my own dreams aside and worked on my sons. Well 16 years later 3 children I decided it was time. So I went out got my GED and started college at a community school working towards my nursing degree. I will be taking my cna class this fall. My work experience has mostly been with the elderly that have Alzheimer/Dementia. However, I have also worked with individuals that have mental and physical handicaps. I hope to find the perfect fit with you and your loved ones. After all, I it's just as difficult to watch a loved one decline and my heart and sympathy's go out to you.

I became a Caregiver, because I want to give back to my community. I feel that being a Caregiver is a way to give back. I realized I wanted to take this path 5 years ago when I was looking over my grandparents. What I like about being a Caregiver is that I am giving back to people.
