After both of my parents were diagnosed one with Dementia and the other Alzheimer's I was forced to become their caregiver, later found caregiving a passion for me. I like making a difference in the live of people in general but especially to those that are hurting and less fortunate. To be able to provide comfort care to those that are on hospice is an achievement for me. I am a compassionate, caring person with the ability to understand people with an open mind. After careing for my parents, these last two years has been difficult for me because I lost my parents and It's been a struggle working my way through to secure employment. I know that as I stay in faith keep moving forward all things work together for my good. I have the desire and a good working knowledge of a NA and the enthusiasm to be a part of a team that is providing services to help bring healing and or help maintain a healthy lifestyle to those that are in need.

I became a caregiver because i love helping and accompanying elderly people. I have a 95 year old grandmother who is like a mother to me and i would appreciate a compassionate caregiver providing the best care possible. I need to work, therefore i cannot do it myself, however, I know there is a lot of grandmas like mine that need the best care, and I promise to provide that for them.

Helping people ,that,s what ii love . Making a difference in some one life ,providing with a smile ,being teachable over the years,and having the operitunity to apply what I learn, I am Fearfully and wonderfully made ,funny ,out going,and love people an that,s why I am a great caregiver.

1. I became a caregiver because my grandmother needed help . 2. I like that I can help out other whom aren't able to care for themselves 3. My personal achievement would have to be that I leave work everyday knowing a did a little bit of a difference to there day/life.. 4. I am a hard worker, I get along with all my clients and I'm determined to learning new things and I pick up on it fast .

Answer patient call signals, signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine patients' needs. Turn or reposition bedridden patients. Provide physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities, such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising Review patient's' dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure patient receives appropriate diet. Measure and record food and liquid intake or urinary and fecal output, reporting changes to medical or nursing staff. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff. Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine Remind patients to take medications or nutritional supplements. Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles and with dressing and grooming. Care for patients by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care. Exercise reminder Medication reminder Meal preparation

I am a rare type I care about All my clients .I am very dependable, responsible, Trustworthy caring an reliable. I treat my clients as I would want someone to care and treat my own family member.I became a caregiver because i use to go to work with my mother when she was a CNA / Caregiver. I never loved any job the way i loved to cared for people in need this is my passion i love people I love when i can get the chance to sit with them an talk about them ,there family an just things that they like i love and there life experiences I always seem to learn new things with this job .no matter what kind of work ive tried I've always came back to caregiving because this is were my heart is. I started doing caregiving at the tender age of 16 my 1st client was my bed ridden mother ..she has arthritis in back hands hips an knees ,she is also mentally ill. An. She has asthma an bronchitis.. So as you can see I started early 1st with my own mother who is Now 77 and I still care for her. I also care for my father who is 91 years old ..i also have hospice experience with AIDS, Cancer and terminally ill clients. I also do Private duty, overnight care and companionship , I've gone on vacation with some clients just me an the client or me the client an family.. I truly love what i do i have had other types of jobs but this is were my heart is ..I do all that I can for my clients as a Caregiver and enjoy every minute of it..

I became a caregiver because it runs in my family and I watched many family members be helping to others and I love it.I love being helping to people thats not able to help themselves. My achievement is being part of people's lives that know that I am there to help them with task their are not able to complete themselves.I am a very caring person who loves to help people, live to laugh and get along with anyone

i wanted to be a nurse so i started with care giving.i love being able to help others.i became a nurse an the manager of my last job.i am 48 years old im loyal protective empathetic detail oriented can multi task most of all loving caring.

Hi y'all ! Well to start I fell into caregiver by accident and turned out loving it ! I have been doing hair and make up for 10 years , but 5 years ago came across caregiving , and new right away I wanted to stay helping people that needed it . I've worked with kids and elderly . With many different diseases and life interfering issues. From dementia to Huntington's ect. I love finding a bond with my clients and learning all I can About them and family members :)

I became a caregiver because I love to helping out people in need. I like doing hands on work like bathing, dressing, feeding, cleaning, and fixing. I am very friendly, caring, loving and understanding person. I enjoy taking care of elder disabled. I have a grandmother who is my life so I want to learn and get into assisting an knowing how to take care of her when she became ill because I don't want her to feel bad or alone at old age. I want to be able to share my love and care with other elders that don't have it.
